  • Nice Video Indeed,i saw some red flag videos on youtube but they didnt include this dogfight,if u can,try and find some dogfight vids involving IAF would luv to see their performance. The F15 that was shot down in this dogfight seemed lot less maneuverable and agile than the Indian Sukhois,so i am quite excited to see how IAF did.

  • Lol its sounds like and NGG animal documaterie: Here we see the f-16 aproach his prey. Look how hes working whit his pack to close the other jet in. Wonderfull creatures.

  • Song(s)?????

  • There are no jas 39 Gripen planes in the this clip, there are F15 vs F16 so stop saying there are gripen planes in this fight.

  • @paecmaker Wow ! if i dont have wrong i think Jas-39 Gripen Was one of the best!

  • @paecmaker yeah your right, hahaha

  • this is literally a supersonic, large scale form of lazer tag!!!

  • Why does the F15 pilot go "YEAAAHH!" when he's been killed? -.-

Or did the director think we wouldnt recognise he was in a good guys plane?

  • @jthqrules that's the f-16 guy, his wingmen are behind him.

He got shot down by an f-15 later, the cocky bastard.

This wasn't much of a dogfight anyhow.

  • @kozmon0t He's in an F-15.

  • @jthqrules look carefully at the wingtips behind him. Keep in mind the camera is wide-angle, so the weapons on the wingtip mounts are distorted. But they're there. F-16.

  • Why does it show the SAME clips near the end?

  • where can i watch the whole movie?

  • lol at 2:00, the "bad guys" are swedish JAS Gripen-fighters. Never heard anyone calling swedes "the bad guys"

  • @antibulletdodger101 my bad, those were F-16s

  • @antibulletdodger101 No, at 2:06 they clearly say that bad guys, red force are flying f 16s. And therefore the gripens are good guys. but the swedes did a good job any way ;)

  • This is like watching the documentary about dinosaurs! ... not a bad thing.

  • To close for missiles, switching to guns!

  • i dont get it it says they fly 12 f-16 but the red leaders fly and f-15

  • The "Red Leaders" do not fly F-15s. You're probably confused by the paint jobs. All the F-15s in the film are the visitors. Those with red stripes are F-15Es from Mountain Home AFB, Idaho; notice tail flash "MO".

The Red or "Aggressor" forces in this case are all F-16s with camo pain schemes; 64th Aggressor Squadron - tail flash "WA". It doesn't help the story that other, non-camo F-16s from Nellis (also WA & OT tails) were filmed and portrayed as Red Forces. Just consider them "cast extras".

  • The Gripen was the only B-forece aircraft that did'nt get shot down!

  • @abcnoobie Sweden Engineering Rules. SAAB, Bofors <3

  • AWACS!!!! yeah most important in operation red flag

  • haha, fat bastard. "yeah!"

  • YEAH!

  • why does it constantly repeat the f16 spin and good try but not good enough and im moving in for guns

  • Right! This could have been 4 minutes shorter without the repeats.

  • crappy editing or glitch in the filmclip?

  • werd...son....thts retarded....wasted some minutes in my life.

  • What is this? is it a training vid, or a movie?

  • it is a documentary movie for IMAX.

  • thanks, but what is IMAX?

  • IMAX is a 3D SINEMA!

  • ok thanks. do you know where I could downlaod this video at? I'm also making aviation vids, but I need more footage for them.

  • Hard core stuff!

    Love it!

  • I am confused I know the 65th and 64th AGRS uses F-15s and F-16 (C/D) and I saw some Mountain Home F-15Es, but it looks like they spliced images of F-15Es, in with Nellis based F-15Cs, and F-16s. Who the heck is fighting who? It looks like Blue on Blue on Red on Red???

  • they probably borrowed weapons school planes not involved in red flag simply to shoot the movie. I'm certain that virtually none of the a-to-a in this is actually real-time, but instead all pre-planned and shot from a B-25

  • The MO birds were all supposed to be the visitors. Some WPS F-16s got drafted as panning shot cast Red extras along with the F15Es. But you'll notice its back to the 64 AGRS F16Cs chasing the TDY F-15Cs for the "action" scenes. (I did 3 years at Nellis and got the back story from some of the aircrews.)

Film Tidbit: Our face/starring pilots were actually filmed from back seats in F-15D&16D, but they portrayed it as if they were front/single seaters. Impossible to mount an IMAX cam out front.

  • if u watch the first part its says 2 guys from cold lake

  • buddy lets go cfb cold lake we own all ur asses

  • I wonder if russia have any similar training programs for there fighter pilots???

  • turkish warrior

  • wtf! i thot the british were the orange!sounds pretty organized!j/k!these guys are awesome

  • all you can mainly see are f-15s and f-16s but it was a cool movie

  • Good job tractor! This was a badass vid!

  • the Imax i went to a ImaxDome

  • yeah i saw it with my dad and just about threw up when it showed the inside of the cockpit and they were spining but we saw it in an omimax

    wich was tight as hell

  • Just saw the full movie at the imax, i bout lost my stomach during the low level flying through the canyoun in the beginning.

  • sounds like I missed something really good.

  • You got the full video?

  • sorry, i don't have it.

  • that was a awsome movie. saw it a year ago.

  • I envy you
