  • @illscully Oh yea....more than enough!!

  • lI got these plugins and love them to death, keep doin ya thang bro, you got mad talent and explain your technics very well. thanks for the tutorial.

  • I just got the SSL 4000 and its dope man...also the Abbey Road EMI limiter gives it a vintage feel

  • Ma nigga Sonny of in the lab talkin what i call Magniggalous, when u use big words and nigga words too lol. Getcha SSL on pimp!

  • @bullybeat yes it does and then again it doesn't ..depends on what youre doing!!

  • Does it matter what type of audio card you have? I'm not talking about standard computer soundcard. I have an emu 1212m but would I need something better to get the full audio range or is it mainly down to how you treat your sounds?

  • Good shit bro

  • yo bro i brought the ssl4000 waves pack but dont know how to use it. can u give me some tips and ill pay u 856-261-7802 my name is eddie

  • what is the difference between the NATIVE COLLECTION and the TDM BUNDLE besides the price?, pls help i want to get one of this plugins one day.

  • @abmendoza1

Native = Processing on the CPU as in native to the computer

TDM = In the Pro Tools TDM PCI cards (I think but basically done in the special Pro Tools processing cards, taking the strain off of CPU)

  • @madmuso thanx man i appreciate that.

  • it would be better to record the signal from daw via line input of the camera.

mix too compressed imho either camera mic compress or overcompress in master

  • just the camera!

  • crazy beat

  • What the fuck is wrong with you?

  • Thanks bro nice video

  • aye yungsonny, wsup you might already know this but to save some cpu power with the ssl plugs try using more buss groups that way you wont need to have one on every track you know. you'd probably only need like 5 or so then. nice work though on all ya vids man.

  • ma man, i have the same plugins, but im using xp pro32 bit. i want to upgrade to vista 64bit but im not sure is the ssl4000 plugins will install. help me out bro, ill highly appreciate it u kno, nah mean. good looks

  • Doesnt work on VIsta

  • I don't think waves support 64 bit computer yet.......

  • sounds very good! im using tha same plugins they r crazy.

  • very cool, thanks for sharing, no denying it sounds sweet!!!

  • i think you might be compressing your kick to much

  • Hey Sonn. what u doing with that track? for CD 003 thats where we need to be

  • what track was you talking about i havent done anything with either of them on this video!

  • Tight shit yo

  • Thanks for the video. I own the Waves SSL 4000 bundle too. It's great.

But I prefer SSL's own Duende plugin which also emulates the SSL 4000 mixer. It comes with a 1 rackspace hardware acceleration box that you connect with firewire. It uses a bit less CPU power than the Waves plugins, but it's twice the price as the Waves version.

I really love the SSL Duende, and it sounds better than the Waves plugin to me. It glues the mix together better. The Waves version is no slouch, however.

  • Say bro, I just got this plugin two days ago and it is helpful. I am using it on a MAC pro with 9 GB of RAM and stacking them on all tracks aint a issue. Thanx for the post, maybe I can get up to the town and check out your setup. I'm thinking on buying a MV is it fairly operator friendly or is it a hassle?

  • I can't believe how many people out there insult people the way they do. Obviously, they are kids and shouldn't be listened to.

For the record, I'm a nice white guy ! Lol

Keep it up, your doing good buddy ! Drop by and say hi and check out my studio sometime.

I just picked up a set of nice Mackie HR624mk2's, will up a video showing them soon, with some of my tunes.

P.s. I'm using the waves ssl plugins too, they are something else eh?

    Take care

    Rob

  • Imagine that insult!, a wetback calling someone a negro.

  • ARE YOU USING WINDOWS OR MAC?

  • windows

  • Use "shift" key when You click to another plug-in.

  • do u eq de ess then compress or do u do it the other way around

  • I would recommend de ess first, it'll sound a bit louder when compressed.
