  • they totally ripped a bimmer

  • Hahahaha that was the most hilarious add ever seen, S class want to be, you will have to buy one of these every 6 months in order to be satisfied and keep up. Hahahaha unreal some idiots are.

  • I wonder if anybody can make a video that goes lower than that intro ad. Comparing Hyundai to Mercedes and BMW is nothing but a laughing matter.

  • comeon giv hyundai a chance, and i must say this hyundai is really good looking (for my opinion)

  • 375 horse power :^) now that they've made the luxury sedan version, i hope they make the sports sedan or coupe version i heard they WILL and that it could be over 400 horse power (same engine but supercharged) woot! :^)

  • Folks, do the Youtube search on "Korean Wave in Asia." You'll find tons of informations on the Genesis.

  • dude.. stop saying search on korean wave in asia. it has nothing to do with this car..

  • Then don't buy it. No fancy words necessary unless.. your pride hurt so much???

  • But your face was copied from my ass.

  • i lol'd

  • hahaha

  • it's a thoughtless copy of kicking hyundai. shame on you. an embarassment whoever says

  • I like hyndai's motto. But the front is s calss teh back looks like 7series

  • OK Genesis its good, I rode it in Korea its a superb car. I like the interior the most, everything was good it was actually better than the Equus.

  • I really wish they would release the American version with the Genesis logo instead of the Hyundai logo...the Genesis logo is a lot nicer and easier to accept than the Hyundai logo...all around, though, looks like a great car!

  • Agreed, but HMA thinks otherwise. HMA is masterful at not listening to the American consumers.

  • Hyundai has definitely come along way. I'd say that this is the break out car for Hyundai to put them on par with all those nice Japanese companies.

  • It looks great!

  • you're assuming too much man. for one i don't live in the US, and i don't think much of american cars cuz here in the caribbean we more live off of Japanese and European cars. i'm glad if hyundais are working for you guys but they just don't stand up to the torture of our poorly maintained roadways and we're not as fortunate as you guys to have low cost car maintenance or 10year dealer warranties

  • My equation for Hyundai is HYUNDAI=RELIABLE. Cheap cost, still worth its value.

  • good

  • Not a bad effort for their first try. The real question here is.. would people buy hyundai made luxury car? It'd be a hack of job for their marketing department.

  • BMW 7 + Mercedes S-class+ Lexus ES series / 3 = Hyundai Genesis.

Classy design anyway. Well done Hyundai.

  • hyundai is best so good car !

  • To those Hyundai pissers, I have 2 Hyundais(Tiburon and Elantra) since 1998 and they are doing fabulous! I honestly love them both. I also have driven 2 Toyotas. In comparison, I have to wonder why you should pay more.

  • With in 2 years USA economic so suck, you won't be able to afford anything but Hyundai.

Economic downturn is started. We will have WWIII soon too.

  • it looks like the new Merc c class mixed with the new Accord....

  • youre job is to spam all of youtube with this bullshit thats youre job

  • I was impressed with even Azera, this is even much better.

    Well done.

  • Hyundai is ripping off the poor man. Yes they give you this nice fancy car thats "comparable" to a mercedes or bmw, but what you don't hear is the voices of the car owners 2 years later "omg piece of crap car costing me a fortune"

  • i used to work in a repair garage and i can tell you, 2 years old and hyundais need the entire front cradle and suspension changed out and steering system giving trouble and we gotta fix this and that plus the whole damn interior falls apart on its own.

the poor man should skip this luxury headache and settle for something of better quality thats one step down in class...like a corolla or something

  • I highly doubt that even if that's true

It has 10 year warranty... anyway.

  • where do you think the dealers send the car to fix man? they can't handle the workload so they used to come to the company i worked for to fix em.

and down here in the caribbean people get 2year and 5 year warranty on cars..not much support at all.

long arguemnt short, hyundai ranks down there with citroen and skoda and tata..all those waste of money vehicles.

take it from a guy who's been there and seen it personally

  • plus... even if it has a 10year warranty and it don't cost you money to fix it, think of all the down time and time spent at the dealers to get repairs, your money tied up and you can't use your car when you want to. and even if you're dumb enough to keep it for 10 years, what happens when the dealer stops fixing it for free :S

  • In my own experience, hyundai has been an excellent choice. It not only doesn't break down easily, but also it is extremely easy to fix. Bought 2005 Hyundai Sonata and had no problem with it yet except for changing the engine oil. And 10 years warranty doesn't come out of nowhere. If they haven't got confidence to make up the cost for it, Hyundai wouldn't have dared it. Confidence in quality=warranty. Well, it's been my pleasure driving Hyundai and my next car would be Genesis with my faith.

  • They offers 5year 10km warranty now as I looked up

  • I wanna know which car it was u r tellin

  • You leave out the fact that it costs over $100 just to do an oil change on either of those cars and they still fall under the industry average for repairs, which are typically more than $500 a pop. And I get to spend $10K+ less for similar features? Weak argument.

  • now we're starting to get country specific. I'm glad if it costs you guys less in the US to own and maintain a Hyundai. i get no personal satisfaction for bashing the company but my true honest opinion based on my experiences with Hyundais is to stay damn far away from it. i haven't owned any but i've seen tonnes of em and our local people suffering with em. If you find enough reason, buy it its your money

  • I believe Hyundai cars should stay far away from a person like you. I really think you are lame in questioning reliability of Hyundai products. I buy Hyundai cars in a heart beat because my past experiences with them.

  • You sound just like my niece who complains about her Nissan Altima breaking down all the time. I let her drive my car once. I could see where the problem was. BTW, I spend $15 per oil change. How much you want to spend on your car is none of Hyundai's business.

  • The Design is copied by german cars...like Mercedes! So the car can not impress me...i like the german cars...maybe the japanes cars not poluting the air so much as german cars, but the design is not inovativ enough!

  • i like it. it look very nice.

  • Looks like the front of a Mercedes and the back looks like a Bmw

  • Hyundai copyed lexus, mercedes in 2009 Hyundai Genesis

  • Luxury cars copy eachother. . . it's only natural if you think about it.

It looks like a lexus, but a mercedes also looks like a lexus. It looks like a mercedes, but lexus also looks like a mercedes.

Remember this, this is a luxury vehicle, and nearly all luxury vehicles look the same. Remember that.

  • whatever, that's just BS excuses. Lexus takes design direction from Mercedes/BMW/Audi. Hyundai just copies from everybody. The fact that you have to keep telling everybody "remember that, remember that, blah blah blah" just shows how blatant it is with Hyundai. Hyundai seems like a good company, they just need to get some BALLS and do their own shit.

  • WTF are you talking about??? BMW, MERC and LEXUS don't look any bit the same...

    REMEMBER THAT?? are you high?

Luxury, They Don't look the same thats the whole f-ing point. if i'm paying 50K+ i obvioulsy want something different...

    You're dumbassness baffles me.

  • luxury companies do not naturally copy eachother.

lexus, bmw, mercedes, acura, audi all have destinct looks and features and style to them which makes them all unique.

this hyundai genesis however does have similar features to that of a mercedes s-class and bmw 7-series.

  • It´s an ugly mish-mash of various models of cars. The PR guy´s BS is funny though. Keep at it Hynudai. Someday.... someday.

  • Ahh is this coming to australia. cause we need a good hyundai!

  • It is comming to America because we are to broke to afford anything else. America is going to be going for an India TATA car as soon as our dollar falls another 40%.

  • LOLLLL !!!

  • they should have rethought the grill

  • is it environment friendly?

  • Think I you comment meanly, unnecessary it be, why you call us trash if it be you that smells like trash?

  • I like it, I've already ordered one. I cant wait to finally put it into my garage with 26 of my other cars.

  • Dude, learn to speak the language before talkin' smack cause you just sound like a douche bag!!!

  • This car is a mutt..It's has a combination of everything out there already. They have to be more original man. Disappointed for sure!

  • As an M35 owner I take offense to this haha.

  • okay it looks like an inifite with a merc grille

  • i guess you weren't aware that toyota used fords early model to rise to the point that they are at now... anyone can talk shit about another country...their past...their future...even the products that they are known for...but you ... you cannot use words like that ... are you one of the men in japan that made all of those companies great? ... are you? i certainly doubt it ... stop riding the accomplishments of better men simply because they may be from the same place you are from.

  • No need for harsh words if you're not able to express yourself.

  • i am actually quite dissapointed by the design of the car's front. Its a bite off the Merc latest S class. C'mon! hyunday can do better than that!??! Must have been an American design. ...

  • And from the side it looks like a G35

  • Totally agree.

  • since when have they done an orginal design, they always borrow.

  • that's a Merc grille..

Koreans cannot innovate to save their lives.

  • keep buying this korean and i will watch you cry in the future when you have no job. will be the third world country

  • doesn't matter if you buy "american" cars much anymore. most of ford, chrystler, and gm cars/parts are all built overseas anyway because of free trade/outsourcing. and, on top of that, asian cars always seem to last far longer, and be more reliable than american cars. that's what i've seen based on experience.

  • In NA, Toyotas built here use more NA generated parts then the big three. Send your complaints to them.

  • The styling... It's whats killing me. This car makes perfect sense in every other department except styling. ARRGHH

  • MSNBC is composed of retards.. ;) Ford maybe... everything else American is at the bottom of the list.. ;) especialy Lincoln. Lincoln are made out of toalete paper.. ;).. 3 on the list.. omg.. ;) Please dont make me laugh...

  • I hate it when people don't know what they're talking about.

  • American cars are crap...

  • This is so American :D omg,4 cars and they move cuz of some lexus vs BMW & Merc. omg loool ;D so so so WANNABE American's cant build cars.. that's a fact and thats that.. :D.. everything good that they have... is from Europe.. ;) Probably everything good from this lexus is European ;) but BMW is stil beter BMW FTW!!! =)

  • Lexus is not european idiot.

  • A wannabe Lexus LS pfft

  • Maybe so but more people can afford the Hyundai. So what if they are copying, they are giving more features for less money which is probably the exact opposite of what BMW, Lexus, Merc and Audi do. And there is no doubt in my mind that the latter cars are better but the point is to give you comparable features for lower price in which case Hyundai has everyone beat.

  • according to MSNBC, JD Power released the initial quality report for 2007 models:

    1) porsche 2)lexus 3)lincoln 4)honda 5)mercedes 6)jag 7)toyota 8)mercury 9)infinity 10)ford....12)hyundai....I count three USA brands ahead of HYUNDAI, maybe my math is wrong..

  • this has same sound system as a rolls royce...

  • Uh ? No it doesn't.

  • hyundai = rwd

    acura = no rwd

    acura = fail

  • lol, id buy one just to crash around in..

    beautiful yes, strong? no..

    interior materials = crap.

    no point denying it.

  • wat the fuck are you saying. you havent been inside it. and according to those how have been inside say is good. and besides you its not like arabs could do any better.

  • Hyundai can put together as many vehicles it wants in the usa but the bottom line is:

the pay for employees is half of what Ford/GM pay...

    little benefits for employees....

    parts are made overseas....

    and most important...

the money goes right back to Korea.

Made in USA, yeah right....put together in USA with foreign parts and then profits shipped right back to KOREA.....

  • the funny thing is that Hyundai has better reliability.

  • wat do u expect its a Korean company. bet you dont have any proof on the things that you say. "put together in USA with foreign parts" y dont u bitch to BMW?

  • s-class front, old infiniti m back?

  • its not a car for beemer lovers or merc lovers. so if you can afford something better, stfu and stop complaining. Like it said, its for people who want more for a reasonable price. so you hates need to really chill the fuck out. Hyundai is not the only brand that copies.

  • Hyundai=FAIL

  • your face is a failure.

    Hyundai > GM

  • merc c class frond and 3 bmw 3 series back???hmmm

  • probably good quality and cheap price ... but no personality; it's a patchwork about BMW, Mercedes, Lexus etc. etc..

A good car for people which are looking for substance not emotions.

  • salam....peace

yes... to all the common people just like me.. tumb up for hyundai

  • Sweet ride!

This car has more than anything in its class for half the price!

  • Great job Hyundai

    LS400 for the 21st century!

  • Awesome!
