What I say about the kagamines, is that its up to the video maker to interperate of how they want them to be, in this case, I suspect that they are lovers, or perhaps twins and lovers.

In some videos, they are JUST twins, in some, they are JUST lovers. So really people, its up to the makers of who they are. The thing about vocaloid, is that there really is no set personality or whatever. Its how the fans interperate it.

they are twins, they were made this way, people should just get over it. Their name literally means "Left Mirror" (Len Kagamine) and "Right Mirror" (Rin Kagamine).. and they are mostly seen as two sides (when put together, create one whole person, AKA TWINS, as the producers announced).

However it shouldnt matter if the song they are singing suggests love.

Rin and Len Kagamine are, according to the CREATORS the same person. Len is Rin´s mirror image.

That they are siblings and lovers in some things is what the fans have decided for their own fantasy. So don´t say you hate them just because of the incest, when you actually can decide for yourself what you want them to be.

I like to think of them as fraternal twins, especially considering they don't look or act alike enough to be perfect mirror images. Sharing genetics doesn't make them any less sweet, and to the people who think that it's immoral or impossible or whatever else--well, you seem to have missed the meaning of this song, for one thing.
