Chargelot is the counter for marauder, and people are saying toss is op becuz toss mass chargelots, terran mass marauders then lose, thats funny. If the terran could just go with t1-2 units like that and win the game against those toss's t3 units, i would throw this crappy game out of my window, really.

@Frasse6s ghost also owns everything the toss has (EMP), with less micro needed, and also has a strong atk vs light with a long range so they dont become useless like HTs while having no energy.

Basically, ghost > HT, but in this match up u can see that the terran, like many others pointed out, really didnt use his ghosts well, while the toss on the other hand micro his HTs quite good. He made sure to cast storms and transform his HTs into Archons right when OOE and b4 they are focused down.

YES archon+zealot rocks, especially after the huge archon buff...Against terran, toss didn't need to deal with something like muta/broodlord from the zerg, stalker can just throw away at the late game when u have archons.Gatored just suffered 2 mistakes in the game, he dealed with the harassment pretty badly, losing 105 workers was horrible...and do not start any shield upgrade was a big mistake when he go for archons.

Great game! The both players played fabulously against each other. I think the Terran played too long with a bioball: Protoss can just cream them in the late game. He should've started to get mech into his army as well, especially when Gatored had a fantastic unit combo of Archon, High T., Chargelots, and Collosi. All of those units complement each other in the role of steamrolling Terran bioballs.

I don't want to be a probe in Gatored's army, which is good because the Terran actually harassed.

problem with this game is the lower tech almost did roll thru the higher tech.

Terran can't really go bio against Protoss because there are so many counters to it; collosus, high templar and even immortals+chargelots tear through Terran's bio armies. I think the answer against Protoss is bio+mech, good harrasment and good macro; like Day9 would say, all that good jazz.

@bubba18sar I'd say protoss units are very immobile instead and that's why we always see the deathball. warpgate based armies are mobile due to being able to warp in anywhere in the map but that's nothing compared to the deadliness of terran bio drops.

terran bioball doesn't scale with size. a small bioball is just a scaled down version of a big bioball. Not the same for protoss. you don't often see protoss doing drops like terran, purely because protoss units need to reach that critical mass

KR stayed at mmm with ghosts and vikings the entire game, no tanks etc, hence so much gas, a heavier gas army(protoss) would of course beat tier 1-1.5 units. and also the map is in such a way that it doesnt really promote macro, so even if u kill alot of workers, yes it means alot, but not as much as on a map like crevasse or other gsl maps.

The terran was just outplayed. And yes, chargelots counter seige tanks and blink stalkers do too if the terran doesnt spread his tanks out properly (which he didnt do too good a job of). There is stuff the terran couldve done better, like better EMPs and throwing in some heavier terran mech. All in all though, the protoss just vastly outplayed the terran
