  • They are like tires with toes. Five fingers remain at the top.

  • @ThePowerRanger1991 I can't say I 100% agree with that, but I wont buy any more Fila's. This summer I'm getting the Virbrams though.

  • Check out my skeletoes video Metal Session

  • @phreeze1969 I'll check it out.

  • i have very wide feet,do you think these will be good for me to wear, also im going to be using them for everyday wear and also working out in,jogging and such.my biggest concern is the wide foot thing.

  • @MrGotemcoach I have flat feet as well. Not sure what you have bought yet. But mine have a little hole in one of the toes & from what I've been reading and watching the Vibrams seem to be better. I'd probable go with Vibrams.

  • they felt like rocks on my feet sorry bro I'm sticking with my vibram KSO'S

  • @1shadowfang8 I personally wouldn't run in these more than a few miles.

  • are they good for jogging???

  • Skelitoes do not offer the same quality of Vibram. Sure they are cheaper, until you buy 4 pairs because they keep getting destroyed. I have been wearing Vibrams exclusively now for the past 4 months. Shoes and boots feel strange now but my feet and back are stronger.

  • Good video but please next time, cut the music or dim it down. Because it's definitely louder than your voice and it's pretty annoying.

  • Vibrams are so much better. good video though

  • Vibrams are so much better.

  • @TheAXEMurderer86 Will do! Thanks

  • someone tell me how to wash them?

  • @lilmarkiejr I wash them in washing machine then let them air dry.

  • They are pretty good, but I think I should of got them in another color other than all black. The red & blue ones have a nice finish that makes them look good for everyday wear other than just for training.

  • Vibram over filas, the skeletoes arent as minimalist as vibrams, which is the whole point in wearing them

  • for the people that ask if they are good for running they are not meant for that so no they would not be, th sole is to stiff to get the "barefoot" feel. they are more for an everyday use

  • are skeletoes good for runing distance like mile or more??? at a say 5:45 mile pace

  • @coffeeispimp I wish there was a shoe that I could run at that pace in. My pace is about 7:45. But to answer your question I have not ran in these yet because I have flat feet and the Fila Skeletoes doent provide enough cushion for me.

Im not sure if I'll ever run in them long distance.

  • @coffeeispimp I've run up to five miles barefoot, so I imagine you could do it fine with these. I'm going to the store tomorrow to try some on, maybe they'll let me take them for a literal test run.

  • @coffeeispimp I just ran my fastest mile since high school. 6:54. two weeks ago. Not blazing trails by any means, but it was MY best that thats all that matter. Ran it in the Fila Skeletoes on a new high school track. Felt great during the run, but the next day my left insole hurt like you know what. I still feel it from time to time. Not sure if I pulled something or what. I want to say its my muscles in the foot that are simply sore, but who knows. Not sure I'll do it again.

  • Are They Good For Running?

  • @Simplymatt937 I havent ran in them yet..scared to honestly. I dont want sore ankles. I think I'll start with about a jog around the block then gradually increase to see how my ankles respond.

  • @TrainwithTiko Yea They Look Like They Dont Have Enough Cushioning For Running. Thanks For Replying Back, My Friend Did Buy Some And She Said They Were Comfortable Though.

  • Your toes are probably from constant use of regular shoes in vigorous sport activities. Wearing vibrams would actually help separate your 'jacked up' toes. And with constant use, it will reshape them instead of deforming them like regular shoes would.

  • @GildedAlien I never thought about that. Thanks!!

  • @TrainwithTiko No problem. I would recommend getting the Injinji toe socks with the Vibrams. They'll keep your shoes from smelling bad and prevent chaffing during your jogs. Also if you wear the socks around the house or when you go to sleep, they can also help realign the toes.

  • When I first saw the Fila Skele toes y was intrigued how my feet would feel in them, but spending $60.00 usd was not in my plans, then I found them In Academy for $45 usd and did not hesitate to buy them. My feet usually get tired easily mainly on the heel. these shoes are really confortable, the only problem is that were Iive is very hot and these are not ventilated!!. This week I bought a pair of Vibran five fingers Bikila and it is a whole other thing they are more ventilated and lighter.

  • @Ivor75 Well said. I've washed my Skele-Toes about 5 times. They are fine after washing them, but after a workout or two in them and sweating the way I do they are FOUL!!!. So what I did was buy some Yoga socks (the toes are separated in them like the shoes) in hopes that it would help. NEGATIVE! I still wear the Yoga Socks most of the time with them, but I think they are better suited for cooler days because of the lack of ventilation. Vibram Bikila's are next for me.

  • @TrainwithTiko Do all your workout shoes stink?

  • Like the review man. I have about the exact same foot type and some "jacked up" toes as well due to them being broken/cracked in the past. So far, it seems like the Skeletoes have been a lot easier for me to put on my feet, as the two toe pocket is helping out. I'd say these are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn to just walk around in or hang out.

  • @waffles828 Thanks! I like them too!

  • Nice review. You'll really enjoy the Vibrams. I started out with the KSO's and they were impressive. I then bought a pair of Bikilas and they were fantastic! Make sure you do a review on your first pair.

  • @Gruv3451 Thanks!..So you recommend the Bikilas, I'll go with them first.

  • @TrainwithTiko the Skeletoes are ok shoes for an every day use they are well made and look pretty resistant, but the Bikilas are something else, i have worn them for running/jogging they have good grip on pavement, dirt and gravel, are not so warm and your feet won´t sweat as in the Skeletoes. I am going to use my skeletoes for colder cooler weather only or at nights because at 40°C, my feet will stink, and I wash them twice a day!! hahaha

  • I really want to get a pair and start running..are they worth buying?

  • @alliethatgirl699 I think they are worth the $60 Easily. I went hiking in them, water, mud, climbing, dirt, rocks and it felt amazing!!

  • @alliethatgirl699 I would probably drop an extra $25 and get Vibram KSO's

  • Music was a little too loud.

  • Hey my friend, I picked up a pair of Fila's and thought they were ok, although extremely stiff. Thursday I purchased a pair of Vibram KSO's and they are absolutely amazing. There's no comparison bro!!! In all honesty, the Fila's were a waste of money. It's all good though. Thanks for the review and stay healthy my friend!!!

  • @kevinlscott Thanks. Im still going to try the vibrams real soon.

  • Fila skeletoes will fail. Vibram fivefingers RULE!

  • @Mikenopolis Thanks! Let me know how you like them.

  • @TrainwithTiko Thanks for the review! Planning on getting a pair next weekend. just rec's socks, I hate the feeling of shoes without them. Personally, I like the "build" quality of the Fila's, Vibrams seems too expensive for so little shoe

  • @bigcheez good question. I will wash them and let them air dry when the time comes.

  • im 11 and i wear size nine

  • do you think that you could wash them if they become to smelly?

  • The pinky needs to be separated. Not separating the pinky defeats the purpose of better balance and poster the vibram's provide. Vibram's are made for any hard active sports. Fila said their shoes are for walking. Fila even said their shoes are not made to compete with vibram's because they can't. It's like comparing a wannabe sports car like a Honda civic si to a Evo 9 Mr.

  • I slide all my toes in the vibram faster than you can put on those fila. People just need to get their toes used to the separation for a few days then it will be a lot easier to put a pair of vibram's on. You don't want to spend over $100 for a pair of vibram's? Vibram's starts at $75 to $125. The most popular is the kso and it's $85.

  • @Punisher I pretty much agree with you. I even said in the beginning of the video that they are imitation Vibrams Five Fingers. I know they are heavier, but I still like the pinkie toe feature better and think they are easier to put on than the Vibrams Five Fingers based on my initial try on of both. I'm still going to buy some Vibrams though :)

  • Comparied to the Vibrams, I see them as knock off wanna be. they are heaveier then FiveFinger, the rubber sole is stiffer then FiveFingers and by keeping your the two small toes together doesn't not stimulate the muscle.. Also you couldn't get them on (Vibram), because you didn't give yourself time to learn how to put them on. But I guess you get what you pay for..

  • @ Shai, they are extremly light. I think the Vibram Five Fingers are even lighter though. Im about to hit Rev Abs Power Intervals in them now!!

  • those shoes are slick. neva seen sumtin like that before. are the lightweight on your feet when you workout?
