"Christmas In Connecticut" (Stanwyck and Morgan were so sweet together) and "The Bishop's Wife" are two of my favorites.

Nice job. I love those old black and whites. I own several on dvd. I am amazed at the amount of tinsel they threw on their trees, it made the trees disappear.

it is our family's fav. we watch it every Christmas eve after dinner and before midnight services. my mom came across it on tv in the early 70's and it's been part of our Christmas movie ritual ever since

These are very charming scenes on Christmas. Although there are a little artficial, but still I am deeply fascinated with such Christmas landscape. I am interest in these movies are all American. Actually almost such scenes what I can remember are American.

It was impressive scenes Cary Grant who looks to be complaining of the cold walks and meets a Santa Claus or a lady washes her face with the snow. Incidentally, for a moment I imagined James Mason plays le père Noël...
