The People's Party, a dissenting group in the late 19th century, actually managed to get members under their party into office, a feat yet to be achieved by the Tea Party. America isn't doomed. I laugh when people say that the rich are over taxed. The trickle down theory has all but been disproven to be an economic stimulating theory. So the question is, what is the "right" tax amount. Most people at this meetings will never reach the tax brackets that they are fighting to defend. In return, they will get less services from their government - roads, military, schools. The rich don't worry about that. Their kids are in private schools. Should money be spent better, yes. Defense.

The Iraq was was started when the CIA, Russian Intel., and British Intel. thought that Iraq had WMD's and refused to let UN inspectors into the country. Later the US gave Saddam 30 days to go into exile and when he didn't that is when the bombs fell.
