  • I still don't understand how you figure out the coefficient, I don't get how having 2 y values when having a total of 4 gives you 6.

  • @demonwx10 , the coefficient is found by using combinations. This is another Math concept that is a prerequisite for doing Binomial Expansion in this way. It's basically like saying, if I have 4 y values, how many different ways can I make a group of 2.  You could use the first and second, the first and third, the first and fourth, then the second and third, second and fourth and finally the third and fourth. So there are 6 ways to make a combination of 2 y values when you are given 4.
