There is very little difference between any particular make of bat. One bat of the same model will vary to another one depending upon the wood it is made of. Professional cricketers don't use any of the bats we can buy. They get theirs made by a personal bat maker, who make a continual amount of bats to this specification and then put their sponsors labels on the bat afterwards. Professionals also have their bats treated very differently to increase performance but have a shorter lifespan.

two different things. 1 i have a GM ikon it cost me £180 reduced its 2 '11 and has a well weighted pick up however the toe is awful, no spring and no feel when hit off the toe end. The middle of the bat is beautiful and pings like no other ive had. Number2 most really good bast wont last that long as they are a less compressed wood that does not last but has better results thus why pros change every so often

hmm now if its is bats u want i dont think it is the maker or the price which should maqke a huge difference i go through 100s of bats daily so i just got a lil bit knowledge always hold the bat and see how good is it ballancing if your fine with the ballance then look for the weight and make sure the bat has nice clean straight grains if you can get all these qualities in a bat pick it up you are a lucky lad and it should last a life time hehe for any more info or bats visit my outlets
