  • whats the difference between folkstyle and freestyle?

  • Can you do a video explaining the quarter nelson and 3/4 nelson. I take catch wrestling and our base unlike Judo or Bjj is wrestling. instead of the open guard all of our submissons come from the turtle. We have been drilling the 3/4 to set up a Dare choke. However we are having trouble with the quarter nelson. I wrestling in high school and I think our coach is doing it wrong. Is this were you place your hand on the back of the head come up under the armbit and grab your other wrist? Thanks

  • hey i see that ur good im wondering what are good set up for takedowns and jus when can i use in the right time

  • there's several ways to set up a takedown such as head/shoulder taps, 2 on 1 tie ups, collar ties, head snaps, etc. It's a matter of using the other person's momentum in order to pull off the shot. common strategy is to not pull, but circle your opponent to the position you want him in, thus creating an opening for the takedown.
