@MLG580 it depends, I have probably had about 50 hours of flying a real heli. and about 30hours on a simulator. some people can learn faster, some take even longer.
Tom, are you sure it's all stock? My 250 is also stock, but does this funky thing with the tail, where it kicks the tail about 12* whenever I give it pitch for a flip. What do you think is causing this? Maybe i need more gain?? Badass flying, btw :)
@RCFlyingBoy2009 Yes, I bought this stock and never bothered to upgrade anything because it's not worth upgrading. I would rather spend the money on my larger helis. my 250 does spin out if i give FULL pitch instantly, so I only give it about 6-8* pitch, I think it's because the tail blades aren't powerful enough. you could try giving raising the gain, but mine just wags if i do that. I'm not really sure if its meant to do this strange kick, but I have just got used to it. Thanks tom
Excellent flying! You could rival Bert's 250 flying! Were you talking as well with the other 2 crashes cause I might have solved the mystery here. Is your backyard a heli parts graveyard like mine? This is not what I call enclosed though. You wanna see enclosed yt this: "Nick Maxwell Protos 500 Indoor"
I've seen the cause...............your using a DX(every heli that uses one crashes)8i. So many UK fliers have major issues with them & they've wrote off their heli's. Nice flying until then though. BTW that's not a garden that's a full on flying field
@p4ddythehelipilot What radio do you use paddy? The DX8 is supposed to ahve no issues now and its certainly better than the dx6i which reverses channels at will :P
sucks about the crash, a couple weeks ago i had 3 crashes in the same day.... sucked, and last week I had to send my DX8 for service. Hasn't been pleasant here as im totally grounded....
ah we love the crash videos :D don't we. Keep up the great flying and stick with Align. Clones are dangerous. learned a big lesson with my 500 clone explosion lol
@pocoyo2212 I secured it properly trust me on that. If it would have been TREX500 there is a lock for canopy hehehe. so its still the Clone's fault mate. do not take my words, try a clone heheheh but again hey, CopterX has improved qualities.
@ArcticRc Thanks for the advice mate, my friend has a copterX 250 and he says it is very good. But the align parts are cheap and postage will cost less.
You have some quick reactions, flying in that small space! Are you a thumb flyer? I have to use 4 fingers flying my helis.

@alishanmao How was that the clones fault? The canopy came loose and went into the blades, You should of made sure it was secured properly :)
