This song reminds me of my Grandpa (passed away 9/18/91) and Grandma Schrodt (passed away 7/21/96)... Now almost 15 and 20 years later, their little grandson (and also Grandpa's namesake) is all grown up, and will be a 3rd Generation farmer, even tho it won't be on the same farm land... I still miss them to this day!!!

I saw this edition of Extreme makeover, but just caught the show towards the end. I know the father died, what actually happened to him?? I know he was a farmer was he killed in a farming accident?? When I heard this I teared up as well, whew makes the heart all fluttery.

No, it doesn't make you a bad person...everyone expresses emotions differently....I normally don't cry either, but I teared up with this song...I love Randy's music and his voice and the reminder of the loss of the husband....just very emotional....but don't feel bad if you didn't cry.....we are all touched differently
