How's the trans doin with the transgo in it?? I may put one in mine. Do you like it? Does it hold the power without slipping? What convertor do you have?
yea it the valves you put it when you drop the transmission pan make it creat mor line pressure wich prevents slipping....it only takes about 30 minutes to do that part....now to put the stronger clutch cage spring in the clutch drum assembly you have to pull the tranny and take the bell housing off....you dont have to do that though
did you keep the stock converter, i heard those fail when you start adding power too. i already limped my truck so my clutches are burnt. im just going to have a ppe stage4 installed so i dont have to worry about anything at all.
just because you limped your truck doesent mean your clutches are fried......i limped my truck over 100 times and the clutches looked new when i pulled them out.....the reason it goes into limp home mode is so you dont burn them....at 3% to 5% slippage the allison will go into limp home so that you dont burn it up.....the stock converter is better than what people say it is cause once it is locked its locked and you can throw alot of horse power at it!.... i have a billet torqe converter
You do realize C1 clutch is not applied in 5th gear like the video states right? "It's applied in 1st thru 4th.
