actually, most of the crew and many of the actors were australian. plus almost all of it was filmed outside of the u.s. i'd have to agree with you though, i think they should release it at the same time, not before.
@nupthatisit Umm I'm a Melbourne boy born and bred you tool. I know the role we played I was a reservist I know our Military history. I know our guys played a huge role in the Pacific. I simply think the whole battle for Australia tagline the show uses down here is just to suck in Aussie viewers lol.

I personally found it insulting, the suggestion that Australia was only fighting in Africa, for instance, and the representation they made that the men were merely drunken thugs and the women nymphomaniacs. I think Channel 7 have a lot of explaining to do if they helped fund this piece of American propaganda, but that's just my opinion. I did find your comment odd, though, America did use the MCG as a Marine base
I'm surprised to see the W3 Class Trams, they no longer operate on Melbourne's lines anymore, just the SW5's and W6's.

A bit of accuracuy wouldn't go astray - Flinders Street has the 70, 75 and 48 routes - 16 is down Swanston St. And 27? Never existed

But then again it is Spielberg. He could probably film in the middle of a tornado and make an Oscar winning piece out of it.
