here a couple of ideas for nagasumi from being killed by the seto group

1.fake his own death and disguise himself as a new guy then he can stage a fake attempt's murder on Gōzaburō and ask for his daughter hand in marriage, years later he reveal himself and only his parents and San know the secret

2.challege Gōzaburō to a one-on-one combat ( no weapons/outside help) where if he wins then Gōzaburō must stop the attempted killing on him and return to his home (but San stay with Nagasumi)
