lol, nope.. its just Adobe After Effects, the text tool and some off axis placement (by hand)... the letters move about using a tweaked animate in setting with key framed opacity and position.

Nah, no presets. Just a lot of placing individual sentences in 3D space.

Sorry man, dont think this sorta thing is on the web anywhere. I came up with the treatment myself and havent documented it for others to copy. Just keep playing in AE, the more you play the more you'll discover, then you'll be doing stuff like this in your sleep. It looks quite tech but its actually really simple.

The blur is actually more of a drop shadow thats animated separately. It just doesnt show up on Youtube because it bumps the res down to fudge all spoiling all the quality.

Youtube is not the friend of the detailed animator! lol.

Sorry, Ive never seen any tutorials for stuff like this on the web. It was my idea and treatment so its not really documented.

I learnt After Effects just by playing around and experimenting.

Yeah, I blame the blur on Youtubes crappy encoder. Its actually like a 3D drop shadow with racks in it like broken glass....

how did you get the text to re-align from one place to another?

It was a tweaked preset animated transition jobbie from the animate text options! Id tell ya more about it but I cant really remember, lol. I played with it for ages.

I dunno how much more'll come out of it to be honest dude. Was just an idea for work when we get some new jobs in so i can safely say when i do it properly it wont be SiKth based :(

Ill probably have more shit up at somepoint with more tests thou. And SiKth tracks are ALWAYs good to work with ;D
