Ooh, that looks pretty awesome so far. There are little things that could make it better, though. For instance, can't you recolour King Bob-Omb and speed him up a little? And maybe you could create double boss battles; like say, King Bob-Omb and the Big Bully. King Bob-Omb is slow, but has three hitpoints, while the big bully is tremendously fast and has one hitpoint. Just a suggestion - I think it's great so far.
@DutchGamerPhilosophy I assume it would be possible. Although having played the game (as seen in recording), it was a lot harder to defeat King Bob-Omb compared to the N64 game. You can't just go behind and tap the button, you have to keep pressing it and chase around a bit. Must have taken ages to make.
