  • I like the one with the drifting, reminds me of Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift, which is on some of the home consoles and arcade =)

  • lol!!

  • How do you get the 1st song

  • Yay! My "favourite" AI car, Records #04!

  • when I was still a child I tried to replicate this with Lots and lots of Hotwheel cars.

  • @dacarfreak2000 Awesome! :D

  • @wakkyvideogroup Im making the vid now. Its in stop motion.

  • I'm agreeing with a lot of the people in here. I think someone needs to upload an MP3 collection of all the tracks from the arcade version.

  • @AnotherIdiot Search in google there are lots of it.

  • From what I can hear in the posted videos, this theme is actually done justice in Sega Racing Classic. Finally- a faithful, powerful-sounding remix to erase the memory of the hideous Saturn version!

  • Why does this cutscene appear and what does it mean?

  • It means youre waiting for other players to join the race.

  • It's awesome.......if only it was available as a download

  • these cars are like choro Q .

  • Does anyone have a list of all the AI cars? I'm interested in things like that, especially because they all are so unique...

  • The only tough drone AI cars were: #20, #46, #53, #55, #62, #16, #13, #12, and #51. Can't write the sponsors 'cause it would take a lot of time listing them all down.

  • I actually managed to put together a list... nearly all of the cars share sponsors, actually >_>

  • Some cars share the same sponsors on different courses, but it looks like that the MISS corporation is actually a group entity. But I don't think that #20 is the hardest rival in the game, I think it would be #55.

  • Don't forget #4. Hey, he may only hang around in the early position, but he is an ASS to overtake.

  • This needs to be made into a screen saver.

  • @wooterz agreed!!

  • Does anyone know where you can download the second song in this video?

  • Can be captured from the games sound test.

  • And how would I do that?

  • Aww... That's so cute.

  • can u get virtua racing's wating your entry screen?

  • Hi, sorry I only post Model 2 videos not Model 1

  • can we get one with the tile maps cheers

  • Ummm, not really as a mix, but hopefully after the new release I will post some online videos and you will get to see it live in action :)

  • Tell you what... that would make a pretty cool screensaver. That's even in today's million+ polygon realm. And I say this again- these arcade versions of songs sound better than the Saturn/PC versions of Daytona USA songs. I almost wished Sega would have brought the exact arcade tunes to the PC and Saturn (since they are both the same) versions. Nice tribute.

  • Thanks John

  • John I couldn't agree with you more! The Model 2 versions of every song sounded better. The Yamaha sound chip created a certain synth magic in these songs that was lost in the Saturn remakes. Many cool effects and backup vocals were MIA or came across lame in the mix. The WAIT COIN theme ( heavily influenced by the original Sportscenter theme!) was terrible in the Saturn version. What's worse is that this version never appeared in the menu of Daytona 2001! I wanted to chuck my DC out the window!

  • Hi jaymum, what is the Sportscenter theme?

  • Indeed, the Wait For Your Entry theme (that's the original name, not Wait Coin) was a disaster in the Saturn version, while Start Your Engines was dreadful! As for your Dreamcast, you don't need to chuck it out, just wish for a Daytona original ported into the DC.

  • Other than that of The King Of Speed, the soundtracks of the Saturn version was dreadful, ghastly, and a catastrophe.

  • Wait For Your Entry is dreadful, ghastly, bloody, and a planewreck.

  • @JohnMarineTube You're absolutely right. The attract screen music was pretty much MURDERED on the Saturn and PC versions

  • Cute. :)

    5 stars

  • I love those little cars, remind me of Micro Machines

  • I was thinking the same thing.

  • how to make the link work?

  • Please visit our forum at Nebula and someone will assist you gladly.

  • ok hahas

  • yo hi. i think there is something wrong...

  • I purposely removed the tilemaps :)

  • lol
