Very promising performance. This is Scarlatti. Sometimes, other players wish to show off their extremely virtuousity but lose their way and ignore the style of Scarlatti.
I love your interpretation of this. Everyone likes to use Michelangeli's interpretation as a reference, but I don't see how everyone must play this piece at such a tempo. I can certainly understand why people would wish to play it fast, as I'm guilty of doing it myself for guests. Keep it up. I'd like to hear you play Beethoven.
@calcmandan Thankyou! , people runs this piece because is easy to speed it up but I believe is out of style and damages the music clarity, I have tried this faster and it doesnt convince me. I have uploaded some other pieces, if you have time give it an ear, I will upload beethoven soon. :) bye!
Wow, I can believe a beaner, border crosser, wet back was able to do such an execution like this, I'm amazed, are you sure you are mexican? It's impossible to believe. jajajajajajaja.. como estás cabrón? felicidades Marco, cada vez lo haces mejor
Very nice! This is the best interpretation for K27 in youtube!! Tempo-wise, it's as relaxed as Ross Scott's. Interpretation-wise, I can really feel the 'affekt'; unlike those other interpreters that make me see a dying Juliet.
thankyou for your very kind comment! You are the first one that makes such comment about my interpretation of this sonata, you made my day...(: I dont know Ross Scotts but I will search him...
Somebody put Scott Ross in youtube at youtube/.comwatch?v=Ztn0p6fV9O8
I made a guitar transcription for this, apparently the piano score has been heavily romanticized that it tore off the original (and simpler) harpsichord score. Listen how the other pianists, even the big names, romanticize this baroque piece so badly.
That is because the piano transcription was mainly made in the first half of last century during the neo-romantic time, That's why.
Recently I heard this pice played in a harpsicord, a Cembalo and a Forte Piano....its a completlely different conception of this pice... and youre right about the original simpler style...

I love the tempo you used. It's expressive and still has a nice "pulse" to it.

I like it. Also here (as in my version) there is a research and an evidence of melody.
Great control and excellent instrumental suit.

Félicitation, c'est une très belle interprétation de cette très jolie sonate, la mélodie ressort bien et le piano "sonne" bien aussi.

At this speed, the piece sounds wonderful. So many other musicians play it as if they're speeding through it, but you make the melody sing.
Thanks for posting this. I'm going to start working on this piece tomorrow.
