Oh how I love this game. Think I may go play it again.
But one thing I don't get is why does everyone finds the need to "wall rape" all their enemies in sword fights...? Takes the fun out of it...might as well just have none if you're gonna do that, ya know?
I grew up with both versions as I had both an Amiga (which was the pc version) and snes. I can honesty say I have no preference on which one is best. Because both are outstanding versions and are the best out of all the other versions out there, including that heap of shit remake that I got for my PS3. I just wish that some day. Someone with take the best elements from both the pc and the snes version and make game out of them. That would take this classic platform game to the next level.
Where did you get these tiles, i have only blue and yellow tiles for floor and walls ( On pc ), does this mean if you have SNES you can use more tiles than two ( first blue - Underground; Second yellow - Temple ) ????? Please answer
I wonder if the first swordsman you face is Jaffar's son? He's the only other blue faced fighter I think I've seen in this game....just thinking out loud. :)

If so, then maybe Jaffar planned to have his son marry the princess.
For some manipulative purpose, maybe?
Another explanation would be that he was just possessed by Jaffar, although that doesn't make much sense seeing as the rest of the guards follow him, but doesn't get the blue treatment.
I'm honestly hoping this game will be released on VC in the near future during one of the Hanabi festivals ^^
I'd hate to have gone through that fight for the 100th time just to finally beat it with one life left. Standing there all proud of my victory... until I drop, splat, dead.

Crap? This version is better than the PC version. Why? It's mainly inspired on dungeons appearing in the PC version. The other level's design is way more varied and has great graphics for a SNES game. The SNES version controls are better and more accurate. Plus you get to play 20 levels instead of 12. So continue playing the PC version if you like (which is a great game as well), I take more pleasure in playing the well balanced SNES game...
You can say what you want, nostalgia or not, this is definetly the better version, more content, better graphics, better soundtrack.

Yes, indeed, this is the best version of this game! Loved Lv. 19 the first time I got there. It had awesome music and it was so confusing...
By the way, activating the 3rd last switch with the floortiles wasn't necessary to beat the level, but otherwise it was very well done!

Back when Proince of Persia was the best. This level was IN-SANE. I think this is the best version of the original. The music is awesome too.
