Did you see my "Matches in Action" video before you made this? Crazy how similar they are. Good stuff, stop motion is tricky. If you are going to try some more of this sometime, I'd suggest a tripod.

to make the box move without hands, they used frame by frame pictures. so between shots they just filled the box, put it back in, and kept going.... Really...thats magic. an idiot could see that. i used the same thing for my videos. nice job animating the shots together.

I agree with Portugal82 , if you control the lighting better it would be more attractive to the eye.

thanks for your suggestion. I did this over a day so the time/lighting changed. I dont have a lightroom thing. But if i ever do this again, i can use this flash pole thing.

what made you want to shoot a stop motion video? how long did it take you? will you be thinking of making another one? it's a good video for a first timer, the next video you make control the lighting but everything else was good. keep it up.

i believe it was seminuka's video that made me want to do a stop animation. Check the video responses. This took me around 3 hours to take picture, because i gut hungry, cf card ran out of space, and deciding what i should do next. I know the lighting was kinda bad because it took me so long, it kinda got dark, and i did not want to use flash for 207 pictures.

I may do more stop animation, since i got mostly postive comments, but i need to wait until summer.

It's.. ok, i guess.

Just a little advice: when making stop-motion animation, it can be an idea to stick the part that are not supposed to move to the table. (It applies to the camera too!)

The end result is quite good, being your first!
