I have noticed that when i try to tune the guitar it sounds tacky and it kinda makes it harder for me to learn that way so i see your point. I've decided on going with the metal string, thanks for the advice! :]
thank you soo much for your tutorials, i've learned soo much with them. i saw a lot of people using "capos" idk if that's how it's spelled but i didn't know what they were and no one would explain! you said you started with plastic strings and i wanted to know if it's easier to learn how to play with them or metal ones because my guitar has 3of them.
I don't know if I would say "easier". I'll tell you now that plastic ones definitely hurt less but they don't produce the same, proper and classic sound of a typical guitar that the regular metal strings do. So I suggest you pick either one or the other and stick with learning on them. Switching from soft plastic to sharp metal is kind of hard and it takes even longer to get used to the tensity.
ok anyway, i have this guitar right its old i think and it doesnt always sound the same as the guitars i have heard. and im having trouble hammering on or whatever. any tips?
also how long do u rekon it would take me to learn a song like fifteen? and im a beginner i dont even know all the chords yet or whatever. how long do u rekon?
sorry if its alot of questions but i really need help :] x
