Actually, go to the "Fun and Magic" store in San Antonio and you can buy one.

AND, I discovered that there is an even smaller one that uses an "N" cell.

The trick is to skip the metal box and switch, simply use a bit of metal that makes a contact and a bit of tubing to hold the battery.

First off, no where near the smallest.

By far the smallest fireshooter is one that is a AAA cell with the barrel directly alongside.

The switch is a bit of metal that you press against a brass stud.

No altoids box or anything else, but it can easily fit inside one with room for a few candies, and yes this is the smalls.
