Lorraine Hunt Lieberson was one of the greatest singers of Handel and one of the greatest spirits to ever appear, and I do hope I get to ask someone on the other side why she and Ginette Neveu, Guido Cantelli, Dinu Lipatti, William Kapell, James Dean, Carole Lombard, and an endless list of great light bearers were taken from us while evil, manipulative forces of darkness live on to control us and bring us deliberate doom.
that is why I dont listen to this divine artist and collect her
I mean my mind can understand a Tragedy like that of Maria Callas who died alone at the age of 53 after having sung EVERYTHING it was worth singing, but dying at the age of 40 at your absolute vocal prime and before being able to give all that you were preparing yourself to give to the Art is smth my mind cannot process at all!!! I avoid her I really cant stand so much sadness her story brings me
One of the most moving and gentle voices of all. Hunt Lieberson really had that kind of voice that just needs to sing to be able to express all the deepest emotions in that simple, natural way. The timbre itself was of utmost expresiveness, with that clean tones with some dark hues and supreme delicacy (both of voice and of dramatic approach).
