I may be wrong, but much of the race baiting I have observed comes first from White Liberals. I firmly believe that if the Blacks who support the Democrats had the facts they would vote overwhelmingly Republican, and support Capitalism overwhelmingly. here is the simple truth, you are taught that white people joined the KKK and enslaved black people. You are fed this, what you aren't fed is that the Democratic party was behind all of it. In fact, Democrats elected KKK members to Congress and even a Supreme Justice. The Democrats even fought against the Civil rights bills in the 60's. The only thing that is taught is white=racism. Agreed. Its sickening how much of the so called "Civil Rights" movement is rooted in Communism. I learned a lot about what the media isn't telling us from watching a video by Eldridge Cleaver who switched over to our side and came clean about what;s really going on. I wish I could, but his voting record is inconsistant with the values of our faith. He is pro abortion and pro gay marriage, or at least his voting record is as much, furthermore he is an ardant socialist, and condemned Ezra Taft Benson for "leading the church down the wrong path." While I do get excited about members of our church coming into positions of power I do not feel he is a good example of a Mormon Democrat, but that's just my opinion, and now you know why I am no fan of Reed.

His views are very very similar to the current GA and Church Historian; Marlin K Jensen.

I know Br. Reed loves his family and before he became senate majority leader, he was praised by most people for his honesty.

The other thing is that ALL of Reed's children and grandchildren are active LDS. Which is more than I can say about prominent LDS senators and politicians in Utah.

We cannot and should not trust politicians in general. However Matheson's voting record is much more in synch with the gosepl as I understand it. Chris Cannon told me once that Reed's problem is Pelosi, that without Pelois he'd be a decent, honest, and reasonable guy. That might be true, but I have found few politicians worthy of my trust. But don't worry, I'm just as eager to see Bob Bennett and Orrin Hatch outtah there as I am Reed. We need more like Jason Chaffetz. So far so good with him.

That said I want to like Reed, I just don't agree with his politics or finger pointing. He helped push through the Community Reinvestment act, and then blamed Bush for an economic collapse directly tied to that bill. For once, this one isn't Bush's fault, but Reed is partially and won't own up. I'll be doing some more work on media bias and you'll see what shenannigans LDS politicians in both parties are up to, though Matheson and Chaffetz will do well. They really are great guys so far.

Keep in mind being a Democrat isn't against our religion, but Communism and Socialism are, so politicians in both parties that are of our faith that are supporting this agenda are doing so at thier own eternal peril. God himself said anything more or less than the Constitution is evil (D&C 98).Being LDS doesn't get anyone a pass when they do bad things or support bad causes, and keep in mind I hate both parties so I hope I don't sound too partisan here. I just want our founding fathers back, lol
