I dig da 3d version more than da 2d version because you can move in any direction and da blast radius in da explosions are bigguh and wide-uh. You don't have to get items such as da bobm kick or da bomb throw.

personally i think the 2d versions is better. why? because it was more difficult to kill your opponent and the rounds lasted longer.

I think they are both good, but for me Bomber 64 is the only one i play to this day. It's battle mode was faster paced than the older versions and the older versions took a while just to reach the next person. If they would just make the 3D and 2D system together, maybe some bigger maps and 4 vs 4 team or just 8 player death match, they could very well have one of the best party games out to date. also a guild system and tournaments would be fucken A+

I agree with your vid. I just bought Bomberman land for Wii console, just beacuse of the multiplayer battle mode, and it sucks. When I started playing it, I couldn´t find what I was expecting, the battle mode was completely out of the league and boring. I want Bomberman 64 Battle mode back, I was a lot of fun!!

Bomberman 64 has the best battle mode period.

The AI sucks but that's about the only drawback it has.

It is so freakin' chaotic I love it!

There is nothing wrong with the 2D type of battle mode though, it's just I'm so surprised how they never topped B64's battle mode. Even Bomberman 64 2, arguably similar is not nearly as good. (Granted it's been forever since I played B64 2 so I may have forgotten many fundamentals about that one.)

My friends and I probably wore out at least one set (4) controllers playing this. Absolutely wonderful multiplayer - second only to Goldeneye on the N64, but almost never noticed.

The N64 version was the 1st i ever played and i loved it and miss it. I played the 360 one and originals since then and they are ok but don't compare to n64's version. Hopefully they'll release it on virtual console.
