Hello kickanddown, I am moving to tokyo in 2 months and this Leopalace seems very interesting to me, how'd you like their apartment? I kow utilities are included in the rent, isn't it?
Hey, thanks for uploading this! It's particularly nostalgic because I stayed in a Leo Palace apartment in Okinawa about a year and a half ago, and I always wished I'd recorded a video tour. Fortunately, your apartment is frighteningly similar .. right down to the 100 yen clothes hanger! Which part of Japan were you staying in?
Sorry to hear that your time in Japan ended earlier than expected. I hope you get another chance to visit in future.
Wow! Yeah, now it is nostalgic for me too ;_; I was in Shizuoka. Yes, there was a 100 yen shop not far from my place (then again, where >isn't< there a 100 yen shop??). I do plan to return, now that my health is back, but this time probably to study abroad. After I graduate I'd be looking to live though, so who knows!
It was about 57,000 yen per month, which turns out to be about.... just over $500? It was pretty small, but it came with a tv set, a few basic television stations, internet... water and electricity were seperate. I miss it so much though!
Cool. I like it, but the view isn't that suberb...

Well, that was the plan until I stumbled upon a health issue that will be sending me home in 3 days ;_;
