What has that got to do with the fact that Southampton cheated? Osgood lifted the ball up with his foot - illegal. The ball did not travel its full circumference - illegal. Why would we have lost to Man U. The idea of their defence being able to contain Don Hutchins is laughable as any Bradford City fan from the mid seventies would tell you.
@Celtman That goal was declared illegal a few weeks after the game. I vividly remember the eerie silence from the Bradford City fans when the ball hit the stanchion at the back of the net and rolled back to Peter Downsborough's feet. To this day I feel upset and angry about how we were cheated that afternoon.
