the day stages in unleashed were definitely better than some of the stages in colors, i think. they were longer and required more interactions like drifting and sidestepping than the stages in colors do. that doesn't make colors bad though, i can attest to that. haven't played generations yet, but it looks amazing

@R2BDSi Unleashed was Holding X until the Final Level, and other half was a Button Masher Cluster Fuck with Decent Platforming.

06 was Just no..Sonic Bestiality..Sonic Final Fantasy...Music bland. Would it kill Sega to put an outline on somethings so you actually know their there? Not to mention damn near everything was Scripted, the game had no physics.

Plus Original? Yeah, GOW/PP,and DBZFantasy, more original then a Planet made of food, or an Oceanic Japan sea base.

@R2BDSi well judging how metacritic has both user and critics scores from hundreds of users and legit reviewers, and next to the fact that Sonic Colors (at 73) has a way higher rating than that famously known sonic abomination that was titled Sonic 06 (at 43), I would say that you're clearly completely alone on that sentiment.

lemme break down my opinion. sonic 06 started the worst of sonic games. then sonic and the secret rings followed by black knight were the worst sonic games of all time. unleashed was ok. the werehog sht aint my thing. but killer day time levels. colors put him back in business. generations looks pretty promising. i cant wait to go back to playing sonic advernture 2 levels aka the best sonic game. buy generations:)

Wait, you actually liked those games? '06 was one of the most aweful games I've ever played. It was like Sega didn't even bother debugging it, suuuuuuuuch a buggy game.

Unleashed was boring as hell. Had they got rid of the shitty werehog levels, the awful hub-world, and that awful pixie fairy thing, it may have been a decent game. But no, Unleashed flopped big time.

Colors is a refresher from all of these years of awful Sonic games.
