This bike sat for 3 years. I switched the fuel tank (completely rusted) put on new timing belts and completely rebuilt the carbs. I ran the bike about 100 miles and the motor ate a valve. Literally. Through the top of the piston. A very generous guy in Texas gave me another 1100 motor. This clip is of the bike running for the first time with the new motor and the carbs were only benched synched.

Typical GL1100 low rpm stutter. I've owned several of 'em. Carbs need balancing.
