that costume originally was ben riley's peter's clone but ben then took over the job of spiderman so peter could raise his daughter with mj he doned the spiderman suite but made quite a bit of changes for instance the spider stretched across the whole front and the legs were red and blue but then when ben needed help defeating carnage peter help put a stop to kletus once and for all then the second green goblin harry osbourne son of norman osbourne went to kill peter and ben jumped in the way
