That was a very moving tribute your Gucci. I hope with time you can open your heart for another dog. You may want to try a rescue org for Maltese, Bichon, Yorkie, or MInature Schnauzers. They are all none shedding dogs they will heal your broken heart. RIP Gucci!

I truly understand what you mean. I had my Gucci since he was 4 mos old, we accompanied each other for 13 yrs. My thought is : once you have Maltese, their lovely and considerate character will lead you take care of them with no regrets.
What a lovely tribute to a gorgeous little guy! He was so sweet and very pretty---13 years wasn't nearly long enough, was it! Thank you for sharing him with us.

He was suffering from kidney disease and heart failure. But, he died peacefully in my arms.

I also have a Maltese. She is 10 years old. I worry everyday if something is going wrong with her, she means more for me than anything else.
