  • @erpvb in the house with a bare bones backing track, give the guy a break!(I say this as friendly as possible, just my thought)

  • @750tblack i'm not saying it's bad but the sound is just dead.

  • And it don,t get any better than that. Thank God for Youtube Thank God Almighty Thank God for this mans playing I AM FREE, I AM FREE AT LAST.

  • Please please can you advise where i get the tab for this???? i have tries by ear and i am going out of my mind thanks.

  • @gaws1234567890 - I wish I could help you, but I don't know anything about tabs. I've heard of them, and they sound like they'd be useful, but I just never had the need to look into them. Sorry!

  • @cvguitars Nice work mate, could you tell me how to get this bass/drums cover ? thx Kevin Blues

  • Fabulous rendition and totally faithful to Greeny's version.

    Magical.

  • Hey Larry Im currently looking into buying some manalishi pafs for my les paul, but I was wondering that if I run the neck pickup at 5 and the bridge at 10 will it go back to sounding in phase? Another question I just bought a mini mass and two ceramic silver 10 20 watters for my Vibrolux. Did your speakers sound very strident and treblely at first, and what are your settings on the attenuator do you use 4 or 8ohm? Could you give me some help because I haven't got the slightest idea.

    Thank You

  • @1960sBluesFan Sorry for the very late reply. With out of phase pickups, such as my Manalishi, all you need to do is move one of the volumes only about 1 step (i.e., from 10 to 9) to have the out of phase tone "disappear." A lot of cool tones are possible.

I run my Mini Mass at 4 ohms with the VR. I did a massive amount of mods to the amp, and installed the Weber silver speakers at the same time. I honestly don't remember if the amp sounded different when the speakers were brand new.

  • Very cool! Love your version. Have just done this one and a couple of other early Fleetwood Mac - check out my channel.

  • Hey, Larry, you should be really glad you don't have me as a neighbor that you invite over one day. I would instantly turn into John Belushi in that famous SNL skit, "The Thing That Wouldn't Leave"!!! Then I'd raid your fridge and drink all your beer. It would be heaven.

  • Hi what string gauges do you use mate?

  • That guitar had 10-13-17-26-36-46 on it.

  • Thanks for posting this vid. I am trying to learn how to play this right now. Any chance you would do a tutorial on this one. Maybe a bit slower? I have the basic idea but I am missing some stuff.

Are you mixing minor and major pentatonic together in the key of D?

  • Great tone,I really enjoy your playing. Cheers

  • great tone again - you ever heard the greeny magnet flip done on p90s larry?

  • Thanks! I had a '52 GoldTop that was factory out of phase. Saved me the trouble of flipping it myself! I bought a Gibson P120, which is a humbucker sized "P90" single coil. I flipped the magnet on it and put it into my '05 Faded Standard. I'll make a video with it of Stop Messin 'Round when I get a chance. P90s are more mellow than HBs, so they tend to work well on regular Les Pauls out of phase, whereas HBs on many Les Pauls sound really bad out of phase. Fadeds don't have that issue.

  • thanks for your reply larry - i'm really tempted to try it - if i've heard correctly are there two magnets in p90s, and they both need flipping?
