I had a very frightning personal experience when I was in high school. I was wide awake, and I walked into the room and began speaking to someone, all of the words that came out of my mouth was pure gibberish! I was able to talk normaly afterwards but I have no idea what caused my speech to become scrambled the way it did. This was about 15 years ago.
