I read the manga more then 1 time and I already read the continuance, too... The anime is so bad, like for example LofR [books are better then films in every case !!! ], but it's still fine to see it and I'm greatful for the people which uploaded it to us! ;3

I mean, it's better than the lifeless boring german dub, but jeez.... When Alita popped that guy at 3:00 following, I thought my ears fell off.

Still, it's one of my first animes OVA ever, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially the music. :)

nah I love the older animes compared to today's stuff. Neon Genesis, Gun Smith Cats, I eat it up. It's the style of drawing and animation, handwork instead of computer perfection.

Plus Spike Spencer always does hilarious voice acting

the ending of battle angel alita was soooo disapointing it's gonna take me a while before i can get into last order. Seriously the giant flower thing was just stupid, desty nova suddenly had his head and alita didn't want to kill him anymore, and she was suddenly on tiphares. Worst of all, they put mr. vector back in and nothing happened. for anyone who wants to read this, do not read the last chapter and epilogue. It's gay.

Sometimes the author of the manga has two different ideas of how the story and plot will go. Often times they use there best plot line for the manga to sell more (since we need to buy each book) and the lesser of the plots for the anime. People will still watch it but anime bring in less money to the writer. Dark Horse askes there writers and artist to do it all the time. Just a money making plot.

yes and it is planned to make a 2011 release. they are going to use the same technology that they did for avatar and in 3D. but I know that Jim is such a perfectionist so I would guess a 2013 release. but they are allready in pre-produktion.
