Foggiest New Year's Eve 2012 DCA World of Color Fireworks

Even though the fog put a bit of a damper on the performance, the fireworks were so close, they were pretty much exploding right above your head. Also the lights filled up the fog so it was like being in a dome of color, it was pretty awesome. Plus all the people together enjoying the fireworks, lights, and dancing, it was a great way to begin the new year.

@HeyJJHey it started going on and off ish around 11:30 onward, it wasn't as foggy as it was earlier that night when the countdown went off, but with the added firework smoke it was really dense

I was at Disneyland right in front of the castle and I agree the fog ruined the fireworks BUT I really enjoyed being there and meeting new people and I got to be on tv! because Univision (a very popular spanish channel in the USA) was filming live from there and I was next to the hosts :D

@jayytasmic you could see the WOC fireworks better because they were closer. the ones at Disneyland you couldn't see at all...

@gissneric Yes. It was extremely foggy. What you see on the video is what you actually see in person. As you can see from all the other videos on my YouTube channel account. Everything is in HD! You can click on the link at the end of the video to be redirected to my other HD video.

did you tape this at the bar or bridge cause i went their tooo an i was a the world of color pier :) u was extremely disappointed too because the smoke of the firework made it worse

Thats to bad it was so foggy! I have bin there 10 times and have never seen it that think there! Sorry! =[

@miggytime85 - At about 10:30 PM we (Disneyland main entrance) lifted restrictions because so many guests left early, so almost everyone who wanted to get in finally did.

Quit complaining like Disney controls the weather. There were people crying last night because they couldn't get in for awhile. They were thankful to even be there when the gates finally opened for all. Disney put on a hell of a show despite the fog.

@93oswaldo they always use the Grad Nite soundtracks. Last year, they use Grad Nite '10 soundtrack to ring in 2011. :)
