Ashanti's dead. she died when she decided to release 'good good'

Far from her better ones like Foolish, Happy, Unfoolish. Let's not forget Always on Time and Mesmerize.

  • dunno bout evrybody fighting about 50 en ja ore wathev :P BUT THIS SONGG IT HAWTT!!!!<<333

  • all these rappers you on about are fake as fuck. get them to come out to afganastan with my regiment. then we se who the men are

  • Comment removed

  • damn this beat is sick !! MIss these kinda feel good songs

  • all i can say is these were the good times and i want them back

  • This is bullshit!!! If being a gangster is what it takes to sell records, then most rappers would come from the Brazilian favelas, where you can find real life gangster...

  • it doesnt take a gangster to sell records, for example kanye west. but if u portray urself as a gangster and really grew up a jehovahs witnes knockin on doors, everybdy thinks ur a fake, people dont like fakes

  • umm

    what happend to ja rule???

  • 50 cent happened to him

  • LIE. 50 Cent? I'm tired of niggas saying 50 Cent ruined Ja Rules career. If he was that powerful Rick Ross wouldn't still be making records would he? What really happened to Ja Rule is he just simply FELL OFF. And that's the truth.

Why didn't 50 Cent ruin his career back when this song came out? What's your excuse? The reason why Ja Rule isn't making anymore songs is because this type of music isn't IN anymore. Now it's just bubble gum rap. At least Ja Rule isn't a sell out like 50 Cent.....

  • calm yo hype ass down fuck boy, everybody knows 50 ended ja's career, it aint no secret dumbass. n dumbass anybody can make a cd, the question is if it sells, n ross' cd sales fell off, triple c's sold less than 10,000 copies. 50 exposed ja for bein the fake ass gangsta he is. get it right dumbass

  • This is true.

50 Cent didn't get signed when these Ja songs were out. Murder Inc was at the top, but when 50 came through everyone jumped the Murda Inc ship.

I'm a fan of Ja, but its pretty safe to say 50 is the reason why it became "cool" to hate on Ja and which is the reason he "fell off".

PS. How is Ja any less of a sell-out than Ja rule? They both make gangsta rap, yet have pop records on the radio. That's just smart, not "selling out".

  • That would make sense, how ever it's not the case. It's just a coincidence. Again, in what way did 50 Cent end Ja Rule's career? Oh by becoming "hot"? Wait a minute how come he didn't do this to Nas and The Game? If you really want me to be specific. Ja Rule isn't a money hungry business man in a suit trying to profit off of Hip Hop and shaking hands with white executives to get in a powerful seat kissing ass like 50 Cent.

  • You obviously don't understand the music industry very well. Its strictly an image-based industry. You hot=you make money. You not=you broke.

Ja Rule's career was ended due to people supporting the Aftermath camp rather than Murder Inc camp, ie. Buying CD's, going to shows, endorsement deals, etc.

There was NOBODY supporting the Murder Inc movement because 50 and Em lyrically murdered Ja and crew, and gave listeners a movement to follow, an experience to be immersed in.

  • Oh I understand the music industry VERY well. Image-based? More like Club-based. The media, thus the people who dominate the music industry(white people) such as executives and producers are what make artist "Hot" now a days not their so called "Talent".

Ja Rule's career is not ended. Again, are you saying if he puts out music like he did before no one will listen to it? Seriously homie? Where's the integrity in your post? You sound like a fool.

  • Ok, so basically. 50Cent turned Ja Rule's fans into his fans. Because they decided to jump on the 50 bandwagon since he's "Hot". Lol, if that's really true then some loyal fans huh? Eminem? Lol, you just told on yourself. You're a white boy. I aint got a problem with that, but since when did Eminem go head to head with Ja? And if he did he's a soft bitch. Why fight somebody elses beef? That's some suspicious weak shit. Both 50 and Eminem fell off.......

  • eminem got into a beef wit ja wen ja said sum shit bout eminems daughter

  • By the way, it has nothing to do with being a rap veteran. Soon as 50 beefed with Nas who did Nas run to? Jay-Z. Because It has to do with POWER. 50 Cent is a sell out. The fool said it himself "I have very good executive skills" come on homie that guy aint a rapper he's a BUSINESS MAN. He's out to make money, look at his damn name. 50CENT. Which isn't even really his. This is the problem in Hip Hop you fools are blind and fall for these fake artist such as Curtis Jackson.

  • He DID do it to the Game. Look where the hell Game is at now.

He didn't do that to Nas because Nas is higher up in the food chain, as are Jay-Z, Rakim, etc. You can't get away with dissing rap veterans because they're too established.

A lot of it has to do with 50's natural talent as an entertainer also. If somebody that's funnier and and with more hype than 50 came out and dissed him, people would likely hop on that bandwagon. Only person I could see doing that right now is Drake.

  • So because Game is not currently selling any records at the time 50 destroyed him? Lol. Is that why he put a Jay-z diss on YouTube and it got so much publicity? I'm not even a Game fan but you niggas are portraying 50 as this "God" who can just destroy anybody's career which is not true at all.

But what you said makes some sense, but Drake? Come on homie. The only followers he has is soft pretty boys and females. I aint hatin, but let's keep it real Drake isn't real Hip Hop.

  • Again you just proved to everybody you know nothing about the music industry and you're basically talking out of your ass. No I ain't no whiteboy, but I'll give props where props is due, Eminem is better than 99% rappers in the game.

Second, I'm not even discussing "real hip hop", we discussing how 50 ended Ja's career. You mad because 50-cent makes money? He just took advantage of a business oppurtunity, if you don't like his shit, don't listen. Classic example of a bitter-ass hater.

  • Eminem is wack. You're white, stop lying.

Eminem is more of a comedic rapper. He can't possibly be taken serious. You give props to someone who teaches kids to hate their own moms and disrespect them? Prove that Eminem is better than "99% of the rappers in the game" as you claim LOL only a white boy would say some dumb shit like that. You just exposed yourself.

  • And no I'm not white. I'm not black either and I don't give really give a damn what you think about me. The fact remains that Eminem's lyrical prowess can only be matched by a handful of rappers in the game, ie. Rakim, Nas, etc. Don't get mad because he's white and successful. He has a couple messed up songs, but that's what his appeal is to the white kids he's marketed to, I don't care if he raps about hating his mom, because THAT'S HIS LIFE.

  • White and successful? Lmao, the only people who like Eminem are white boys. Which is why you like him so much. Eminem is weak and garbage. His music SUCKS. Nas fell off. Rakim is decent but you seriously need to get out of the past. Nas's music is not the same, Rakim's is barely even and Eminem fell off he's garbage just listen to his song "We made you" living proof right there and how he dissed Maria Carey he's a wack MC face it!

  • I need to get outta the past? YOU'RE the one on Ja Rule's balls. Nas fell off, so did Rakim, but LYRICALLY they're on top.

He's falling off recently, but you're still ignorant about his lyrical skills. My black friends listen to Em more than I do, so I know you talkin out your ass.

  • Homie, I can care less about Ja and 50 really. I barely listen to them both. I was just making a point. Lyrical skills? Hip Hop isn't all about "being lyrical". Rakim and Emienm aren't doing anything to heal Hip Hop. And yeah, I'm sure you do. And I also have Mexican friends who cut my grass every week just cause we're tight.....

  • Hater? I listen to some 50 Cent. In fact, I listen to 50 more than Ja. I was just stating that he didn't end his career. And that Ja Rule fell off. Murder Inc never really had a huge fan base and that's what you need to understand. I'm just saying stop portraying 50 as this "Almighty God". If you can't understand that, then you're a classic example of a bitch-made sucka who can't accept the truth.

  • Are you illiterate? No seriously, is it really THAT HARD for you to read a post properly?

Go back, re-read what I said about 50-Cent, Drake, etc. Then come back with an educated response to what I said, and we can discuss this further.

  • Obviously you just want to use the word illiterate because it's probably the only "big vocabulary" word you know. Because if there was really anything in your post that I didn't understand you would simply rectify my "misunderstanding" but instead you tell me to go and read your post. Lol funny......

  • I use the word "illiterate" because you do not read the post we're discussing, or just choose to ignore everything and jump on the first thing you think you can attack. Nobody's bigging up 50. I'm simply stating in this situation, 50 was a major part in Ja Rule becoming irrelevant. 50 is also slowly becoming irrelevant so calm yourself.

Murder Inc never had a huge fanbase? Did you not get out of your house in early 2000?

  • Haha homie they didn't have a huge fan base, that's the truth. Obviously since YouTube came out rappers have gotten more exposure thus 50's Fan Base is larger than Ja's due to Internet Promotion. Don't believe me? Look up his video "Ayo Technology" 35,000,000 people viewed his video. So that's what I mean by Murder Inc not having a huge fan base. I remember the early 2000s like it was yesterday homie. As well was the late 90s and mid 90s and early 90s. So you needa check yourself.......

  • Speaking of Early 2000s that was one of the best music eras in my opinion, even when 50 first came out Murder Inc was still active and 50 was the hottest selling rapper during that nice cool summer. So what are you talking about? Did YOU not get out of your house in the early 2000s? Lmao, like I said. Ja Rule and Murder Inc simply just FELL OFF. If Ja Rule made the same music like this he'd still be ACTIVE selling records as well as Murder Inc. FACT! Stop getting mad at the truth....

  • I'll agree with you there, early 2000 was the best era in recent years. I'm not saying Ja can't come back, what I'm saying is the huge fall-off of Murda Inc was DUE to 50 and the aftermath crew. If you can't see that, you're retarded. I'm done this convo, arguing with down syndrome patients don't do me any good.

Good luck in life. You're really gonna need it.

  • Wrong, that's just your opinion. Just like The Lox and D Block fell off so did Murder Inc. You're really not that bright. And your down syndrome retarded insults are one big FAIL. Good luck in life? Lol, I could already have it made. Homie you don't know shit about me so why talk shit like you do? You're just a fucking YouTube user. Quit getting so emotional and worked up this is the Internet kid. I can tell you're some dumb young teenager who thinks he knows everything. No hard feelings though.

  • Yep the down syndrome thing was uncalled for. My bad, No hard feelings.

  • So you're saying if Ja Rule still made music like this no one would listen to it? Get outta here man. Even 50 Cent fell off. You can't sit there with a straight face and say he never sold out. Compare his first album to his modern album now. You tell me if it's the same.......

  • Hold on, you get mad and call me a fuck boy but I need to calm down? That's funny. Take your own advice homie. You wouldn't be so bold to say that to my face so why say it behind a computer screen? That's just weak.

How did 50 end Ja Rule's career? Explain. The only reason Rick Ross didn't sell records is because Trick Daddy exposed him of being a correctional officer not 50 Cent. And people lost respect. How about YOU get YOUR facts straight.

  • U obviously dont know me fuck boy, im not your homie. Dont tell me what I wouldnt do to ur face. trick daddy said rick ross was a c.o. when rick ross first came out, when he WAS selling good, nobody believed trick, do ur research."backdown" exposed the fact that ja didnt have any street history, he never sold crack, never shot anything, never poked anything, he grew up a jehovah witnes knockn on doors n shit. once people knew this, they knew ja is a fake, it aint that hard to understand fuck boy

  • OMG REALLYY?? didn't he evr shoot at 50 then?? mean i heard...

  • bmoneyful

You're a fake Internet-Gangster and you probably live somewhere in Canada. Quit talking shit through your keyboard. If this was real life I'd make you my bitch quick. Trick Daddy didn't say Ricky was a cop when he first came out quit lying. PROVE IT! Since when is selling rocks to your own community and shooting someone real? LOL you've probably never heard a gun shot in your life. Quit portraying the hood life as if you've lived it. Go play Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.....

  • if this was real life id put 16 shots in you if you wanted some fuck boy, im licensed to carry, n im from philly, we do this out here, where u from fuck boy?? anybody knows that if your rapping and you portray the image that u r from the streets, u need street credibility, ja rule has none, PROVE THAT HE DOES! didnt think so!

  • Haha oh now you threatening me over the Internet that's gangsta right there haha only BITCHES fight with WEAPONS. Fuck Philly bitch I'm from Detroit we go 10 times harder than Philly. I'm a fucking MMA Muay Thai KB and weigh more than you could probably bench pressure and have 4 fucking years of experience now currently training in 52 Blocks. I'll fucking knock your head straight and once again make you my bitch. I don't need to prove anything, since when do you need a record to be real?

  • check my answer fuck boy

  • I SECOND THAT !!

  • She was 23 years old here so innocently looking now she's something else.

  • i remember my friend did this song at a class talent show in 5th grade_i love this song

  • this song are the greatest hits remembers me old times in high school damn, wishing to take back on time!!!!

  • what does "its murder" imply? absolutely nothing it implys you listen to the music if you gotta question what it means you probably shouldn't be listenin 2 this kinda music,

  • Dude ITs muder = Ja rule and ashanti (or was)is on Murder Inc A RECORD LABEL
