I disliked Part VIII (Jason Takes Manhattan) the most. It didn't seem to take itself seriously at all. Parts I to V were good in my opinion. I think V is tremendously underrated. I liked Part VI a lot but it was very different from the previous ones. It didn't feel like a Friday the 13th movie but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The rest weren't really good though I enjoyed each movie in some way at least.

The characters were really stupid, especially the main protagonist i didn't like at all. 8 is hilarious as all hell. 7 (agreed) watchable. Hell and X disgraces. 6 is great (for the deaths). 5 a lot of deaths. 1-4 the only parts worth seeing more than three times lol.

This eerie theme shows just how creepy Jason has become by Final Chapter. After the injuries Ginny dished out to him, and Chris slamming the axe into his skull, he is bascially dying all throughout this movie. He has the rage of someone whose circulation has stopped - AND the damn people still won't leave Crystal Lake!

Yeah, the whole thing that made it intriguing for me was the idea that it was Jason's accelerating psychosis that made him impervious to pain. It got pretty ridiculous when he went to hell and Manhattan and all that shit.

yeah, the director I think was goofing around with an echoing sound machine and he happened to say KILL KILL KILL MOM MOM MOM and it produced a very strange scary sound.

It is "ki ki ki ma ma ma" and it represents Pamela Voorhees' line in the original Friday The 13th when she says "kill her mommy" so Harry Manfredini said the sounds "ki" for kill and "ma" for mom, in an echo system and we get the sound.

With the new film coming out, it would be great if a soundtrack compilation like Superman: The Music, would come out encompassing ALL the Friday the 13th films music, including the new film. That would be spectacular and would be a good seller. It would also provide a way to hear the music that hasn't been released yet from the later films and give fans an opportunity to hear the music from the films that had soundtracks that are sadly out of print.
