Thank u for posting. I believe knowledge is power. Haters who make insult comments do this cause they can't stand there was good sides along with Shah's dictatorships. As long as we see things black and white, as long as we don't care to learn, nothing would change. If u hate u should hate with knowledge... I'm not a Shah lover and I'm not blind by ignorant religion. I am a muslim tho, but I am an Iranian before that. I care to learn then judge...

دوست مهربان! همۀ دیکتاتورها کارهای خوبی کرده‌اند: شاه و خمینی و پینوشه و استالین و هیتلر همگی کارهای ارزنده‌ای هم در مواردی داشته‌اند. آدلف هیتلر اقتصاد آلمان را شکوفا کرد و صنایع آلمان جهش شگرفی داشتند و بیکاری در آلمان به کمترین اندازۀ ممکن رسید، اما آیا این کارهای درخشان او، جنایتها و کارهای زشت او و سیستم کثیفی که او بپا کرد را می‌پوشاند؟ ـ از تاریخ میتوانیم بیاموزیم که همۀ دیکتاتورها عمری کوتاه دارند و تنها سیتمی که میتواند پابرجا بماند و خودش را اصلاح و سامان بخشد، همانا سیستم دمکراسی است.

Many years ago when I was so much younger !I began to doubt everything exactly in the middle of reading ''Kavir''.& I started a big search to find myself! After all thses years I'm still lost!!! Maybe in another life I choose to study ''Political science'' or ''sociology'',I realy feel like an illitrate!!!

نازنین! اشکال ما اینست که هر چه بما گفته شد، باور کردیم و گمان کردیم که تنها شاه دروغ می گفت در حالیکه دروغ و مکر، برای شعیان و رهبران آنان (ملایان)  تکلیف شرعی است!!! چه کسی بشما گفته بود که شریعتی را شاه کشت؟ آیا هنوز باور داری که سینما رکس آبادان هم ساواک آتش زد؟

نازنین! مردم ساده لو (naive) راه بجایی نخواهند برد و تنها شاه میرود و خمینی می آید ... خمینی میرود و علی گدای می آید ... و علی گدا میرود و رجوی می آید و سپس رجوی میرود و مریم ازدانلو می آید و سرانجام دوباره نوبت به شاهزاده میرسد و دایرۀ حماقت ما (ملت ساده لو) ادامه می یابد... !

Milani's allegation that Reza Shah stole 40% of Iran's assets is false. The reason Iran's assets declined by 40% with his departure is that the allied forces were in charge of these -the British and Russians stole this money and blamed it on Reza Shah. Why would a patriot going into exile steal from his country which his son will be ruling? Where is the commonsense Mr. Milani? why repeat the BS rumors spread by Brits against Reza Shah?
