That's not irrelevant. Actual music isn't like before. Today, making that master pieces of music, being the music world as it is now, purely commercial and not artistical, only is done by bands that search for truth, live and fight for good and does not care about their own interests. Only spiritual people have reasons to live for the rest as Christ (for example). The experience says it clear. Two best musical and technical bands in the world are mostly formed by christian people. I totally agree with you, riak678, but Dream Theater's Jordan Rudess and Mike Portnoy are Jews, (LaBrie and Myung are Christians; don't know about Petrucci); meaning that DT is more of a Christian-Jewish band, and not purely Christian.

As for Symphony X, all of them are Christians. Michael Pinella, their keyboardist, he plays piano in his church (It's on Wikipedia)

Anyway, DT and SX are the two best progressive metal bands ever =D

I would say "Odyssey" is better, but other than that no. This album is amazing. It's not a sell out, it's called growing. Every band does it. Some sell out (Metallica) some just grow as musicians. I wouldn't want to hear the same stuff every single album. This is the ultimate cumulation of their career. It still has sick guitar work on it, and amazing epic songs.

From a musical standpoint Yellowcard is more about perfect mixing than the songs. :) To compose a song like serpents kiss you need a lot of talent. I can learn a yellowcard song in 20 minutes, this would take me about a month if I practiced for 10 hours a day.
