  • If you use Revlon and/or L'oreal, what are your color/s in those brands?

  • Unfortunately this foundation does not work for me AT ALL! It not only doesn't look good on my skin but it also gave me an allergic reaction with the first 30 minutes. I applied it with the Sigma F80 and the foundation ended up accentuating every pore in my face WITH primer. It felt like I applied gasoline all over my entire face. I never have allergic reactions so this was very strange. I use the Mat Velvet + and it looks so much more natural for me and doesn't cause an allergic reaction.

  • @xnobzx awww that's really unfortunate.

I love both the HD foundation and the Mat Velvet.

I have ultra sensitive skin, so I'm surprised that I haven't had a negative reaction to the HD foundation at all.

  • Hi! I have been debating to get this! I think about getting it also for my makeup. Also are you Filipino? I see that wowoweee! Hehe thank you for this review. : )

  • @143moon1 I absolutely LOVE this foundation...a lot of people are unsure whether they like it or not, but it is definitely worth checking out.

and yes, I am Filipino and I went to Wowowee live when it came to Hawaii...it was a ton of fun.

    thanks for watching my video.

  • hello, what shade did you get in MUFE Duo Mat powder ?

  • @xadorkableee I actually don't own the MUFE Duo Mat Powder.

but I have heard excellent things about it.

you should get color matched at Sephora and it should definitely be worth it.

  • how did you do your eye shadow it look very natural?

  • @noykoon2 sorry for taking so long to reply to this comment.

I usually just do a wash of a neutral gold color all over my eyelid and blend it up to the highlight color on my brow bone to brighten up the eye...then finish it off with some eyeliner.

so I typically do that when I want a simple eye look that is natural looking.

  • Great review and I LOVE your nails! I have a question though.I'm in between MAC NC-44 and NC-45 what shade would I be in this foundation?

  • @livekisslove if you have a Sephora near you, you could test it out there and get color matched.

I am usually a MAC NW35 or NC42...and the shade of Make Up For Ever HD is #170

but I'm thinking a good color match for you would be #173, but it all depends on the undertone of your skin.

I hope you find the right shade for you.

  • When I first got mine two days ago i didn't like it either! But now i love it!

  • @MakeuupQueeen yayy.

sorry I took a while to reply to your comment...I didn't get a notification for it.

  • Looking fabulous!!! Lighting is really good. Keep up the good work. New subbie!!!!

  • @shafeen7861 sorry for taking a while to reply to this, but thanks.

I'm trying to find better lighting to film my videos.

I would like to film in my room all the time, but it gets shadowy pretty often.

  • I actually returned this foundation to Sephora yesterday =\ I bought it a week ago it looked really cakey and sheer. Maybe I should of given it more tries. It does photograph beautifully though.

  • @bubbleyk awww I'm sorry that it did not work out well for you.

foundation is tricky...there is no "one size fits all" option.

    =P

  • Great Review! I really want to buy this foundation but because i live in the UK theres no stores i can test my colour! I believe i'd be #170, in MAC studio fix i am NC44! As you are #170 i was wondering what you are when using MAC? x

  • @rachelgarton91 aww I'm sorry to hear that.

I've heard it is quite difficult to get this foundation up there.

as far as MAC goes, I am a NW35 or NC45 depending on the season.

my skin tone gets all crazy like that.

I hope that helped, and best of luck getting a hold of the MUFE HD foundation.

  • Awesome, awesome, shuga dumpling. I'm a big fan of MUFE as well, but because it's pretty pricey I don't use it for everyday use. Like for school? Nu uh, not gonna waist my good foundation on studious days. But you said there were other decent drugstore foundations out there, would you recommend any? Or could that be a possible video on budget friendly foundations?

  • @theredocti I was actually considering making a video on affordable foundations soon.

but I've only tried a few that I've stuck to, so I don't want my opinion to be based strongly on those limited options.

I still plan on making a video on it though.
