  • What kind of perver are you following somebody with a camera! freak!!

  • Fancied a starbucks maybe......

  • He's an officer so probably lost

  • FOREVER ALONE.

  • he was off to greggs to get a pasty

  • He's off for tea.

  • And to think people want to get rid of these bearskin caps, no artificial material comes close to real bearskin.

Just like with leather, the animal is killed anyway because of Canadian bear population control so the skin would go to waste otherwise.

  • @G1NZOU

The synthetics were just hideous especially after rain lol, as you say Canada has to control the bear population and might as well make a use from it as the bears are to be shot anyway and not just for making the bearskin caps, better to use something from the kill than to just waste it all, also if people can't understand other peoples cultures they should keep their noses out or educate themselves about the bear culls and the long tradition of wearing the bearskin

  • @G1NZOU

As a follow up the bearskin is an all natural product I wonder how much pollution is given off in the making of the synthetics maybe the protesters should take note of that instead?

  • acctualy guys hes walking from there barracks which is just down the road back to the palace in preparation orchanging of the gaurds just thought id let you know :)

  • he walked off to get a sausage roll from Greggs :P

  • Love his "hater's gonna hate" stride.

  • That's a very strange hair-do :OOOO

  • @SilkyScreen Hat.

  • @G1NZOU Hair-do.

  • @SilkyScreen The standard bearskin of the British Foot Guards is 18 inches tall, weighs 1.5 pounds, and is made from the fur of the Canadian black bear.

However, an officer's bearskin is made from the fur of the Canadian brown bear as the female brown bear has thicker, fuller fur, and is dyed black.

The hatmakers purchase between 50 and 100 black bear skins each year at a cost of about £650 each.

  • um its a part of the royle guards History they have always worn those u are insutling them by saying it looks stupid its an honour to wear that uniform and its quite normal seeing him walk alone it was prob the end of his shift

  • @paulewing81 Its an honour to wear the bearskin cap, it was earnt almost 200 years ago when the 1st Foot Guard (Grenadier Guards) defeated Napoleon's elite, and previously undefeated, Imperial Guard at Waterloo.

  • Yep that is..

  • The way he voices commands is absolutely fantastic.

    Especially the cautionary order.

  • Funny how all the tourists stare at him!

I wonder what the officer was doing out there all alone.

  • Wait a minute, don't tell me that's the subaltern who took command when collecting the colour?
