Go to a few of the remaining WW2 vets and talk to them for awhile, not to rich kids who had the luxury of studying the event 50 years later from the comfort of a University classroom. You spit in the face of their (Vets) sacrifice.

It costs too many resources, and too much labor, while diverting resource and labor away from more productive investments, and destroying resources, and laborers in the process.

Here's why WWII was retared:
We allied ourselves with Joseph Stalin against Hitler, when Stalin was a far more infamous, massive, and horrible mass murderer.
The Nazis never would've taken over the world, they couldn't even cross the English Channel to invade England.
FDR openly provoked and had prior knowledge of Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor.
Prescott Bush was caught giving money (lots of it) to the Nazis.
