For all who think this war was pointless and have an opinion i would like to remind you that all of the services reguardless of country or creed believed in this action in the beguinning. I have been to Iraq enough to see the progress made. I saw elections taking place with no bombs going off. This last deployment was almost boring until our IED problem during rhamadon in september. This was in Al Anbar between Rhamadi and Falujah on MSR MOBILE. But its over now... NO MORE RECALLS!
what the hell are you talking about... we still have people being recalled. We had about 10 recalls go with us to Afghanistan during Obama's surge in May '09. And they still have recalls coming in. I see them everyday on camp lejeune.

Yes, roe was pretty much non existant, that would be because they told the inhabitants of fallujah that they had to weeks to get out and that anyone left would be considered hostile. So people there were pretty much either armed and ready to fight us or, they pretended to be civilians in order to aid the militants. You beleive what you want but these "civilian casualties" that was the scary reality alot of the times. Why would you stay somewhere that gives men the right to come and kill you?
