Truth. I love ATDI, but I think it is almost good they disbanded when they did. That way they don't have "that shitty album late" that every band does. Not a huge fan of either Sparta or TMV, but just my opinion. They were great together, but couldn't last, which caused such great art.

@mikejustice7 ATDI was so awesome because there were two elements. The crazy part with afro's, and the more conventional rest. They kept each other in balance, resulting in this great great band with the most exciting music in years. Now they've split you've got crazy ass The Mars Volta (still cool but not as atdi) and sparta which isn't so interesting/exciting as atdi. Sparta split up too i heard, i haven't heard Jim's new band yet.

This is my fav "one armed scissor" performane out of all of them that i've seen. It has the energy of the one when they played the Jools holland show, but they play fantastic like when they were on lettermen. They are simply the best band (next to TMV) to come out within the past 15 years.
