  • How long Can this last honestly. Africa is one of the most war torn and general violent regions in the world along with the middle east. Mostly thanks to seemingly ever changing government roving warlords. And tribal warfare. Rwanda great for them but not so long ago there was a genocide there and they are in violate area

  • This is very very positive. You can see it in their attitude, in their faces. The self determnation to be independent and self reliant is a very positive thing.

  • This has cheered me so much ! I am heartened by Rwanda's drive to improve their peoples lives.

  • Great video, not the 'T" is missing in the first word of the description.

  • PJTV do you have any comment on the life site news article "U.S. taxpayer money to fund Rwanda campaign to sterilize 700,000 men"?

Doesn't sound to me like something a "free market" country should be doing.

  • @steam0001 Sounds great to me. Men are given an opportunity to make a FREE choice to accept or not accept the offer of FREE preventative services, contraception education/contraceptives/vasectomies.

Rwandan women are having 5 children each on average. The country cannot sustain that population growth.

Let me guess, you would be filled with joy if they offered free abortion services.

  • @antimarxism Rwanda is a young democracy without the same rights protections we enjoy here in the west. With a hard target of 700000 & a time table of three years there will very likely be coercion used to get men to be sterilized. Africans have a very strong family values & the idea of being sterilized is abhorrent to them.

The only way to reduce population growth of a country with out the use of force or coercion is to raise the stander of living of its people. Everything else falls short.

  • @steam0001 "The only way to reduce population growth of a country with out the use of force or coercion ..."

...is to not use force or coercion. Using your own logic, the government shouldn't be involved at any level, because they would use "force or coercion". Silly premise.

"raise the stander of living of its people"

They are already doing that. Even so, the pop rates cannot be sustained whatsoever.

  • @antimarxism It is a a premise proven to be true historically. They done it before on the African content. They have set their goal & they will reach it come hell or high water.

The population rates can be sustained. We human beings can be very clever at solving problems when we are not at each others throats. Can you see into the future? Can you or anyone say how much population is too much?

  • @steam0001 So according to you, anarchy is the only solution. That's worked well "historically", huh?

"Can you see into the future? Can you or anyone say how much population is too much?"

I don't need to. They have experts for that. The experts that have the statistical information available to view. They don't pull random numbers out of the hat, such as 700,000. Pop is too much due to many factors including food shortages and STARVATION, which Rwandans are very familiar with.

  • @antimarxism Because war hated & violence are the main causes of food shortages & starvation. Experts? This is an appeal to authority which is an invalid argument. We should do as these say because they are experts. BULL! Let people run their own live without interference! The individual is best suited decide what is best for them & their family. Top down has never worked. You only have to look to communist countries to see that.

  • @steam0001 Do you love the vicious and failed cycle of aid money going solely to food, or would it be better for issues that like to be a thing of the past. Money and investment infrastructure, education, etc...

    Simple question and simple answer.

  • @antimarxism No I don't like it & the answer is to empower them to find their own solutions & not to force the so call ideals of western civilization down their throat.

  • @steam0001 Starvation is an "ideal of western civilization"?

  • @antimarxism I didn't state that. It is your assumption not mine that if they don't control their population they will starve. I hold true that being self empowered with a GOOD education & the values they have now they will thrive & prosper no mater how much population they have. In fact the more population they have the prosperous they will become. Do better then us in the west even as long as we don't force our ideas on them.

  • @steam0001 The muslim pop in Europe will double by 2015. Birth rates aren't directly tied to economics, as it has been proven in multiple examples.

  • @antimarxism Muslims in general do not treat their woman as equals. It is less likely that a Muslim woman would tell her husband to roll over & go to sleep.

  • @steam0001 And therefore you contradict yourself and equate birthrates to culture, therefore destroying your original premise.

  • @antimarxism There is no contradiction. Part of bring up the standard of living of any people is to ensure that all are treated as equals.

  • @steam0001 Don't back off your own premise.

You said: lowering population rates = increasing the "standard of living".

Now you are saying: Increasing standard of living = insures equality

    So "equality" = lower birthrates?

You are rambling all over the place with logical fallacies and false premises.

  • @antimarxism I never said that I stated increasing the standard of live = lower population growth. You have what I said backwards.

"Now you are saying: Increasing standard of living = insures equality" I never stated this either. I stated that equality is part of increasing the stander of living. If all are not equal then you would only be raising the standard of some and not all.

You are ether loosing it or deliberately twisting my words because you cannot provide a valid counter argument.

  • @steam0001 You are a liar and are intellectually dishonest. I'm done with you.

  • @antimarxism If anyone here here is being dishonest it is you.

"The only way to reduce population growth of a country with out the use of force or coercion is to raise the stander of living of its people. Everything else falls short." is exactly what I stated currently in the fifth comment down about six hours ago.

  • @antimarxism nobody let this antimarxism guy get to you. he's what people call an "internet troll"...i found him doing this same thing on several different videos. he likes to egg people on and throws out insults, but notice how he's not really interested in real debate; while the rest of you present valid points of argument, he only uses personal attacks to provoke a reaction. it's this reaction that he enjoys.

i recommend everyone ignore the filthy internet troll, antimarxist!

  • continued: "Let me guess, you would be filled with joy if they offered free abortion services." Are you stating that theses services will reduce the need for abortion? Let me tell you that it is the exact opposite is true. The contraceptive mentality, the idea of sex without consequence, leads to more unwanted pregnancies & therefore more, not less, abortions. Contraception will eventually always fail!

  • @steam0001 "Are you stating that theses services will reduce the need for abortion? "

That is a another silly premise and failed premise. The need stays the same regardless.

    "The contraceptive mentality..."

Availability/education of preventative services doesn't increase promiscuity. Never has.

The bottom line is that YOU personally think that Rwandans are too savage or too stupid to handle having the same access as what you perceive as civilized countries. Racist mentality.

  • @antimarxism Ah yes the best way to prove you have no valid argument is to attack the person instead of his argument. I don't want them to be sterilized, I don't want them to have abortions, and I don't want to fall for the lie of contraception therefore I must racist.

If any are racist it is those who would stop them from having more children not less.

You were the one to insinuate that if not these services then free abortions which I agree was rather silly of you.

  • @steam0001

Now you saying: increased availability of preventative services = stopping them from having more children

Are you advocating the elimination/banning of preventative services/products/education in the U.S. ?

  • @antimarxism "Now you saying: increased availability of preventative services = stopping them from having more children" Is that not the goal of preventative services? You offer sterilization to someone so they can have more children? I don't think so.

  • @antimarxism "Are you advocating the elimination/banning of preventative services/products/education in the U.S. ?" No... not just the US but the whole world. If I had my way the lies so called "preventative services/products/education" would be replaced with the truth! Starting with this truth "if you have sex sooner or later you are likely to have a baby! Weather you want one or not!"

  • 2:46 deregulation doesn't work in underregulated countries. it's the classic imf strategy that has failed all over the world. all it does is make it easier for the international market to exploit the local markets. they should protect their agriculture better, export less and grow towards a free market instead of just blowing it up in advance. fuck imf.

  • @Ramsez How do you know that Rwanda is "Underregulated"? What countries that are high on the "ease of doing business" ranking have failed?

  • I LOVE THE FREE MARKET!

  • Wait so you mean a country is actually prospering with a free market. But Obama said that the free market is bad and the government should control it.
