@adampwnzu I had previously trained several women at my former gym over the past 7 years, and one of the biggest muscle groups we worked o improving were their backsides. I've always had a very round and lifted butt, a J.Lo type booty, and most women I trained wanted exactly what I have. I can assure you what this lady in the video is doing is not doing a single thing for the shape of her butt--it's still flat.

@purpleskittle69 I can assure you that the way he has her doing this will NOT make your butt bigger. In fact, in won't do much of anything for your butt unless you squeeze and contract your glutes with each rep. It amazes me when trainers do NOT tell their clients to contract the glute muscle hard. Otherwise the leg muscles take over the workload. If you do these without added weight and be sure to contract your glute, you'll get a nice lift without adding bulk.
@purpleskittle69 The lady in the video is an obviously example of someone who probably does lots of lower body exercises but never really contracts the glutes. Her butt is very flat. Most women from my gym would not be happy with these results, especially any woman of ethnicity and even many of the white woman. If you really want to lift your butt and give it a good shape with too much bulk, try one-legged squats on a chair without added weight, start with about 50 per day, each leg.
@ursiflamingo It depends. If you are starting at a level with no added weight, you can go through a set without resting. Try 20 reps at first and see how that feels. When you are adding weight, such as in ankle weights or holding a dumbbell, then I would suggest doing lower reps and breaking into sets, which is where you will actually see growth and not just lift.
