How I wish they would give away this DVD for free to believers who are sincerely interested. Modesty aside, the Congregation I belong to gives out free Bible literatures and DVD's to those who ask for it---especially to the POOR who can't afford to pay MUCH--in obedience to the admonition: "freely you have received, freely give. (Matthew 10:8; 2 Corinthians 12:15 & 1 Cor. 9:18) I'm one of those poor people (to whom The Gospel is preached) who are VERY interested in viewing this video.
@FirstFruitsofZion Thank you SO Much. You just "saved" My day. I've viewed this video more than 10 times with a growing interest of obtaining it to share to My friends. Passages like Isaiah 1:10-20 and Isaiah 58 (true fasting by sharing to the needy) Amos 5:22-24 and Proverbs 31:8-9 (which is scarcely read in congregations today) are what ALL of us need to hear. It's the central Message of Christs' Gospel: Mercy not sacrifice. Bless u 4 the link. Will look to it
I received my copy of this DVD package on Friday. I am totally blown away. The explanation of the parables, alone, is worth the price of the DVD. "The Gospel in Exile" is enlightening, too. Really, all 5 DVD sets that I've received are extremely well done, thorough, educational, and above all GRACIOUS in tone. I wish there was a synagogue in NYC so I could see for myself - but alas. Anyway, well done!
I have to be honest when I was at this seminar I left feeling refreshed, my eyes open to a new direction striving to accomplish the mission given at the end and could not wait to correct the wrongs and begin a direction of good works in Messiah. The L-rd applied a heavy burden to me on that day "put away the things with no Kingdom purpose and advance into Good deeds in love.
Boaz - I really like your comment on pre-judging people. Instead still giving something - something they really need like food and water. Big deal. Something plaguing the world...
Your resources are spetacular. I believe that you are correct in your assessment of what we can learn from CHABAD - especially their devotion to their Rebbe (same with Breslov). We must be even more devoted to the Master than they to their Rebbe.
