  • its from the 1980 raise the titanic film

  • odd this look like clips from the old movie a night to remember i could be wrong

  • blue ribbon was the culprit here,i believe the cpt was orderd to break the trans atlantic record...

  • Look you stupid asses, this movie was made before the discovery of the titanic so at the time they thought the ship sank in one piece, my god use common sense.

  • and it didnt list as well

  • its stupid. it suggests the bow sank very deep right after the collision.

Ice is tough but not THAT much.

  • exactly titanic did not split.

when it is one funnel only,

    in underwater it spilts like

    a joint.

  • @titanic191237 Titanic did split between the third and fourth funnels. The first funnel collapsed due to the angle the ship was in and due to the rope the broke off. The second funnel collapsed underwater, and the third and fourth funnels collapsed when the Titanic split.

  • It is tilting a bit...

  • it didnt even crack in half thats not how it sank!!! x

  • @jazzclubbin101 this was before the 1985 descovery

  • I'm sure they struck the ice berg fatser than that. They were going pretty fast and it was hard to turn that big a ship.

this almost makes it look deliberale.

  • In the final scene where the stern tends to wobble and then plunge into the sea, is that because Titanic is 'braking its back' under the waterline?.

  • Your clip captures the sound of real human terror in a way that I haven't heard before in any movie about the Titanic. Images of the sinking Titanic often strike an oddly romantic and wistful sentiment... a glamorous and tragic passing of the old world played out in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean on a luxury liner sliding slowly beneath the surface. This clip was very sinister and reminds one of the true horror of the event. And I love the realness of your perspective. Thank you.

  • it did break in half , even the dr who found titanic underwater he found it in half

  • I could imagine what the ship looked like as it was actually sinking in that time, but we will never know, because it's not like someone would have their big ass cameras recording this shit while in a fucking life boat if you know what I mean! It was even harder to record videos back in time!

  • IT DIDNT SPILIT!!!!!!!!

  • you forgot the part where the ship breaks in two.

  • @atlanticl from what i remember this was before it was found so they reall did not kno what happened

  • That was strangley dark and disturbing 0_o

  • i thought the ship broke in half when it sunk?

  • at 1:59 kinda looks like people at the very tip of it rose and jack?? ;)

  • it didnt sink like that

  • Yes. The Titanic broke apart as she sank. No. It was not an obvious and spectacular dropping off of the stern like James Cameron depicted. It probably looked a lot like the traditional images of the sinking because most of the fracturing was hidden below the water. Cameron's movie is NOT the gospel!

  • cheesist version of the titanic sinking ever....

  • This is the Titanic of the movie "Raise the Titanic".

  • why isn't ther people on it as it went down

  • There r no people on it as it w

  • that is not whow titanic sunk

  • dint know it had split like until- 1986

  • oh my goodness people not every single Titanic movie has the Titanic split in half so quit complaining!

  • that is not tianic. titanic broke in becoas of the wait

  • @irvinlatrese its an old movie and when i say old i meen it it was a 1953 movie and they probly thought that it would be to dangerus or somthing like that

  • its because of weight!!

  • @irvinlatrese

Back when that movie was made people didn't believe the Titanic broke in two. It was only when Dr. Robert Ballard found the wreck that it was proven the ship broke in two.

  • that is not tianic

  • 1953 DOESNT SPLIT CLUE

  • I okay. True Titanic's breakup wasn't confirm til 1985. But you are NOT a retard.

  • @tomyv1661 jee sorry i didnt know these things so what gives you the right to be calling me a retard...jeez some people on he internet should really think before they say stupid things like this

  • @samyounk58 yeah- ive been looking back at some of my coments ive been saying an i realised ive been a total dick to people- im sorry, i gotta stop acting like a smart ass

  • @tomyv1661 thank you

  • The sound of ice against steel. People screaming. Bodies floating in the water. Chairs, table, & a baby. A dead baby in a cold water. Night dress around his head. All this is enough to turn any man into a zombie. Oh, by the way, I'm a boy. A man, actually.

  • The 2nd funnel fell because in the movie "Raise The Titanic" because the 2nd funnel is gone when they raise the titanic!

  • i don't know if titanic splits or not

  • that's not how it sank first it broke in half then the rear end got pulled down a bit but then the front end let it go causing the rear to be sticking straight up then tagging along with the front after

  • Comment removed

  • I did see the 1953 movie, but if you folks take a look at the related videos, you'll see some of these clips are deleted scenes from the 1980 film, "Raise the Titanic."

  • i swear it broke in half

  • 1950's movie Titanic fails. Titanic kept sailing after striking the iceberg which caused it to sink faster. Furthermore, the man who was piloting it steered into the iceberg, not away as commonly believed. It is said that he did so out of fear before finally steering away. This is due to the fact that at that time, ships had two types of steering, some would steer the opposite direction that the wheel was turned. Just look it up, everything I stated is on the internet if you just search :)

  • The Titanic have a hole before crash with the iceberg! xD

  • Cool

  • The hole that started the titanic sinking was not that big! At first anyway.....

  • this looks so real, but the movie is so old. Cool!

  • why did the 2nd funnel fall in 1:40P.S. in a explosion

  • @voidmoon65 I don't know why this is. My hypothesis is that the film-makers may have decided to insert this explosion in order to further increase the level of drama. Perhaps the funnel dropping down without a 'heralding' explosion was not deemed cinematic enough - only a theory.

  • @ViolinSounds Because in those times was thought that the boiler room exploded in vapor because the hot material and the water...

  • @voidmoon65 maybe because no much steam i guess? P.S. it didnt breake in haff

  • maybe because a firework hit it or something

  • @voidmoon65 The reason is because before it was thought that funnels exploded when the water touched the hot coal and there was too many hot vapour and it exploded.

  • I saw Raise The Titanic the day after I heard my Uncle pass away. With Titanic was able to escape from this loss, although, I later found my self turning dark

  • @SuperTitanicfreak look at my username lol r u a grl r a boy any way

  • wow

  • Most of the footage is from the 1953 Titanic movie, you should copyright that too. The sound effects are awesome.

  • @TheRMSAndre1 Done - many thanks.
